What's for breakfast? I love a hearty breakfast or brunch - it's like fuel for most of the day...I'm getting better at my eggs over medium Look at that light film over the yolk! ;-D The gravy ended up being unnecessary but I didn't take a pic before I added it - oh well. Jalapeños, seeds removed, yet still give it a kick and those sprinkles of coarse pepper Yum! Normally when I visit Chicago's Southside to check on one of my projects for work, I love stopping at the local spots for lunch. One such place is #unclejs bbq on 47th. everything but the fridge grits

Let your eyes delight in my scrumptious “everything but the fridge grits”!!! I wanted some shrimp and grits but needed to get rid of a couple of items left over in the fridge.  Instead of throwing them out, I decided to top my grits with some greens, cherry tomatoes that were heading to the garbage.  I added scrambled eggs, cheese, grilled onions and peppers, bacon and andouille sausage.

mmmmm good!
