Listen, i do think everyone should go back and read their own writing. Not even in a “look how much I improved way”

Sometimes you need to to remember why you love writing and to remember you’re actually good at it

You should go back and read it because you wrote it and likely it was something you wanted to write and only you could’ve. And even if it was something you think might be “cringy” you’re gonna be looking at it with fresh eyes if enough time has passed, you might genuinely surprise yourself
