This image, made popular by the art collective Gran Fury in the ACT UP “Read My Lips” campaign, is a cropped version of the original photograph, which is housed at the Kinsey Institute. The original shows the subjects’ entire bodies and the full image leaves no doubt about their mutual physical attraction.
