Eddie’s just talking with Steve one day, complaining about how annoying it is that Robin always knows everything and is always right, when suddenly he get’s this stupid, very stupid idea to try to fool her saying that he and Steve are dating, just to catch her by surprise and prove her wrong. And because Steve can’t say no to him and actually has the biggest crush on the metalhead he goes along with it. 

Against all odds, at first it works, because Robin obviously knows about Steve’s gay awakening and crush, so she’s really happy, thinking that the boys finally got their shit together. 

But all of a sudden she starts laughing at Eddie, she caught the prank. And he’s so frustrated… like, how the fuck did she suddenly catch it, what gave it away, it doesn’t make sence. But she just laughs even harder, and Steve’s at the back, facepalming and red as a tomato.

‘What the fuck Robin? What kind of witchery is this? Do you have some kind of lesbian power or something?’

‘No, you just gave yourself away… maybe ask Stevie boy over there, he knows.’

‘Steve?’

And he does, Steve knows what gave it away. It was Eddie trying to be annoying to Robin, thinking he would give her the icks if he shared something sexual so he made some stupid remark about how good Steve fucks him, thinking that the boy, being hetero, would prefer if he said it like that. He couldn’t be more wrong. 

‘Uhm… I…’ 

Not daring to say it out loud Steve decides to do something else, so he gets close to Eddie and shyly takes the black handkerchief that the guy always wears in his left pocket, to then put it on his own right pocket, hoping that that makes it clear enough.

‘Oh…’

Damian has a jagged scar across his stomach and when the bats see it for the first time they try to unlock his Tragic Backstory about how he got it and Damian just scowls and refuses to speak whenever they bring it up so they all assume its a really sore spot to do with some kind of childhood trauma at the league, until Red Hood shows up in Crime Alley, starts working with the bats, catches wind of this, and mercilessly informs them that when Damian was 8 he insisted on helping him carry some new LOA weapons down the stairs and he tripped and ate shit with a serrated javelin in his hands.
