Been doing some drawing tonight, Not this one - this one is done ✨, I’m proud of myself for pushing past the buts and the not sure I’m feeling in the zone-ness. Whilst drawing is something I enjoy and can get in a flow state I have to commit to it because it’s also challenging, it rarely comes easy although endless finished photos of art on Instagram could make it seem that way. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone?! It’s the same with design actually and creativity in general. I want to procrastinate, I’ll just read instead I think because that’s also enjoyable and fulfilling to me and that is not hard not like creativity. I carry on making for a reason that is hard to express. It’s an enduring love and I think if ever truly gave up that would be a very bad sign indeed.
