also another thing thats been bugging me about L's life and his relationship to Watari is the fact that pretty much every single aspect of L's life outside of case investigation is automated. his hygiene routine literally is automated. he is served food on a regular basis without having to ask. he apparently has to be physically dressed by Watari and his wardrobe is exclusively the exact same outfit. then the fact that he has not expressed an interest in any recreational hobby except for tennis and capoeira, neither of which appear to be something he regularly practices, they're just things he can do. oh but sometimes he goes to the art gallery and the park i guess. is that enough enrichment ? is he at all being encouraged to think about anything else outside of investigating ? what does he DO when hes not investigating. does he even know he exists
