and also, in the context of of identity crisis i starting on christmas eve with janet's burial then leading to the overnight tim's journey of becoming a hero leading to his "birth" as robin on christmas morning...there's just something so incredibly blasphemous you need to just accept that his eventual loss of robin and rebirth as red robin was not only inevitable...but needed.....(jk)

Reading 'A Lonely Place Of Dying' and so far every scene with Tim is sending me.
Like bro stalked Starfire and said some weird and concerning stuff than just left without even saying goodbye??
Then IMMEDIATELY breaks into Dicks apartment???? Hello???? Timmy that's an entire crime??? Why are you being so nonchalant about this lmfao??????
Some how this is more unhinged than the fanon retelling of Tim's origin story

The thing about Dick and Cass is not only that Dick resents Cass' closeness to and understanding of Bruce, but that Cass resents Dick's closeness to and understanding of Babs. They both make each other feel insecure in their most fundamental relationships, which is why they fight so often, and why many of their fights feel one-sided. Essentially, they're mutually beefing with each other over different people, but because they'll never admit it neither of them ever know what the other is mad about.

“you can’t break yourself to fix others” but isn’t the robin symbol over the heart for a reason? Isn’t that the part of yourself you give away to make everything else alright?

disclaimer: I am east asian. if anyone who is not white sees anything wrong with my phrasing, inaccuracies, or insensitivity, or something I missed, please feel free to add on. I'm just one person with one perspective; none of what I say should be taken as The Singular way to draw an Asian character. if you havent done so already, please take the effort to expand your view of Asian culture outside this one tutorial.
if a white person reblogs this and adds something stupid I'm going to bite and kick you like a wild animal

the funniest thing about Tim is that he’s somehow convinced everyone that he’s the normal robin. That man is unhinged and a minute away from becoming a supervillain and I for one love that for him.
Everyone at DC has been struggling to find a niche for Tim since 2011 when like...he already had one! He's the "normal guy that's excellent at making everyone else play nice with each other and is also THIS CLOSE to becoming completely unhinged at all times." You walk into a room full of teenage superheroes, see Tim, and think "oh thank god, someone normal to keep everyone in line." And then he backflips off a building without so much as a 'heads up', just trusting one of his superpowered teammates to catch him, and you think "oh my god."
Either fortunately or unfortunately for Tim, because he's so good at pretending he's normal most of the time most people around him tend to largely ignore the absolutely insane stuff he says or does and let it fade into the background. Or they pretend it was a one-off occurrence even though it's looking more and more like it's a 'yeah he temporarily goes off his rocker twice a year and then snaps right back into being the most average guy ever. yeah he's fine, why do you ask?' thing.
I love him.
