Today I have to say goodbye to my oldest friend...although we are across the state from each other, I take solace in the fact you won't be in pain anymore... you had a great run old man. I remember when we brought you home as a puppy we stopped at McDonald's for drive through...I had gotten a cheeseburger and fries... I never had been a fan of sharing but when Mom and Dad were not looking I gave you the majority of my fries... from that point on me and you had a secret tradition of me bringing you McDonald's fries...and that tradition continues to your last day buddy...I had mom and Dad pick you up some fries for me...they sent me a video of you horking then down...I had McDonald's fries too...So In some weird way...I feel like I was there with you...your apointment is in about an hour...and I just wished I could tell you in person one last time, how much I love you, how much I'll miss you, and that I forgive you for ripping up my favorite Scooby Doo blanket when we were younger.
