one thing i haven't seen people here talk about with regard to the show yesterday: one of the confessions was that someone had made their mum wait in the parking lot while they were at the show during the last tour, and dan was like oh god are any of your parents waiting outside right now too?

and what i just wanna know is. when you guys left the building. did you also see the parents parked outside? because i did. and it felt like looking at dogs who had been tied to a bike rack outside a shop. did anyone else get sad at the sight. i wouldn't even have noticed if they hadn't brought it up in the show

there really do need to be far more pediatric bioethics training programs. there are so many nuances to pediatric care that are not covered by any general bioethics program. most notably, the lack of power when it comes to their own medical decision making, and the importance of having adults to advocate for them where parents and doctors fail.

i think the absence of these programs comes from wider society not valuing those under the age of 18 as whole people who deserve to have their needs understood and met.

there are conversations happening now over if these programs are needed, but i feel like the best way to discover this is to actually create these programs and observe their impact on patient care.

The second day of the 33rd Hunger Games should be a low-key day of sloth and gluttony for former victor Crowley Antonius. His tributes are dead, his sponsors are appeased, his escorts are high, and his agenda is in the wind. Of course, his husband, a fellow victor, still has a tribute alive in the Games. Crowley might want to limit his time to supporting Aziraphale Fell and his District 5 tribute, but the Capitol and its Hunger Games madness have far more items for him to attend to. It seems the demands on a victor never end.

Do you have any recommendation for fics where Crowley was in an abusive relationship before Aziraphale? Doesn't need to be the main thing™, and I'm not fussy about AU or not, I just like that kind of hurt/comfort after?? The kind of vibe "In Which the Flower Grows", if you of it?
