if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters

tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.

My transmasc experience was being fine being seen as a girl but growing up and hating the idea of being seen as a woman. “Young woman” was too much for me even before I knew I was trans. Womanhood seemed to come with so many more expectations for gender conformity than girlhood. As many other trans men and mascs have shared, about when I hit puberty was when I started being gifted makeup and spa kits that I was so uninterested in and never used, instead of toys and books and art supplies like before. I understand what people mean when they say “child” is treated like a separate gender.
#GOD it felt like my gender was suddenly SO important like OVERNIGHT#and I was just scrambling to keep up like ‘I’m sure this will all make sense someday’

@danashehab has been fundraising since may and is just over €15,000 away from their goal l. as stated in the screenshot people are starting to believe the rafah crossing will open so it’s important to make sure everyone has the funds in case they are allowed to evacuate.
thee shehab family consists of dana (13), sahar (14), mona (9), malak (5), yehya (1.5), fahed, (38), reem (32), and grandmother mona (60). they have been shadowbanned and deleted a few times. you can also find this family at @monashehab

Note: I'm a 1997 baby, so obviously my choices are largely influenced by what was popular when I was in school - and what was popular with my friend group.
#angel moxie#saw a banner ad on like some fuckin flash game site when I was 10 and tore through it#it probably doesn’t hold up but it was very important to me at that time

Farah was in her final year in highschool when the genocide started, she should've been celebrating her exam results, applying for colleges, and starting her first year as a university student these days but neither she, nor any highschool student in Gaza will do so this year, universities were bombed. Farah and other students are trying to survive instead of buying school supplies.
Her older sister, Shahad, is a pharmacy student like me, I know how hard it is to get excellent grades like she did but i will not be arrogant and claim to know how devastating it is to lose your university. Please help them if you can or if you don't, reblog this so that people who can see it and help Farah and Shahad survive and continue their education

Julia Serano backs up with a substantial argument something I have long contended: transvestigators are what you get when people's strict perceptual dichotomy of gender is disrupted, and instead of finding themselves released from the need to foreground gender in their understanding of the world, they flail, desperately struggle to find something to cling to, and collapse into paranoia. They have learned to see the rabbit and the duck, but, in refusing to understand that both are an illusion, they go around insisting all ducks are secretly rabbits and vice-versa.
