Hope you don't mind my reblogging, but I agree with everything in here. I'd also like to add on, many people with endogenic "systems" don't experience the same problems as traumagenic systems. They usually don't have to deal with unwanted switching, persecutors, heavy dissociation, etc. So it's appropriating the cool parts of DID/OSDD but not the hard parts

Systems are usually traumagenic, meaning they’re created due to experiencing trauma at a young age, usually before 7-9. Those with these have DID/OSDD.

Endogenics are systems not made from trauma. They’re usually made on purpose by someone and are NOT real systems at all. Systems are made due to trauma and not all fun and games to have, as they’re a mental illness. This goes the same with spiritual systems. They’re all fake and created by the person on PURPOSE, and not by traumatic and painful situations.

I just find it incredibly ableist and rude when people willingly “make/create a system” for themselves, and people who usually use the term “plural” are those who are accepting of endogenic/spiritual systems.
