i was wondering if theres any shower ways of saying werewolf-kin? you cant quite say were-kin or wolf-kin since theres many were's and wolves are diffrent
sorry if this is a silly question-
It's not a silly question, anon! A lot of folks don't really know about other terms for werewolves! You can always use "lycanthrope" and/or "lycan" instead to specify!

Uhh hi is it normal to be a harpy and like chicken and turkey?I'm an owl harpy so I'm presuming it is but I wanted to make sure
I’d expect so, considering I’ve seen plenty of harpies say they’re [insert random bird here]-like harpies!

Hello! I've been trying to figure out my kintype for some time now, and I am faitly confident that they have something to do with wings and flying. I know that there are birdkin, as well as many mythical winged creatures, but for whatever reason I have a strong feeling that my kintype is some sort of humanoid with wings, specifically feathered wings. I have considered angelkin and faekin, but neither of them felt right. Do you know of any other winged humanoids that could possible be my kintype?
I’ve got a few in mind that you could look into for a start!
Harpies from Greek Mythology! They’re winged humanoid creatures, always depicted with long claws and were connected to storm winds, since they were the personification of them. Always were depicted as women but hey, you be you. Or a Siren, also from Greek Mythos. They look less monstrous than harpies (at first) and they lured in sailors with their songs- then ate them! I’d say they’d be more connected to the ocean and music. If you also wanna get into the fictionkin side, you could look up Hawkman and Hawkwoman from DC Comics!
Hope this helps!

Hey, uh, so I’m trying to figure out what species I am. I’ve experienced mental shifts and astral limbs, as well as a few instincts, but I’m not sure what they indicate. First, I tend to crouch low to the ground, growl, run around the house knocking things around and nuzzling stuff during m-shifts. Sometimes, when I feel content or tired, I curl up in the bed. I also tend to blow my eyes wide open. Interestingly enough, I experienced something similar before I learned about otherkin- (1/2?3?)
-While playing a form of dodgeball at school, I would sometimes do the same thing with my eyes, tense and crouch slightly, and ‘think’ like an animal? I don’t know exactly how to describe it exactly. I used to think about this as the ‘animal’ taking over. I don’t know, this might be a human thing. Secondly, I have a long tail that wags when I’m content or excited- I’ve also had non- retractable claws. They aren’t that sharp, but they’re firm and sturdy. (2/3) Thirdly, I keep instinctively growling at people, and I get cravings for raw fish? Like a whole, freshly caught fish. And I curl my fingers into claws. I’m pretty sure I’m an omnivore, and I can’t climb ladders or trees during m-shift,, any ideas as to what I am? Sorry if I’m bothering you, I just really can’t seem to find my kintype. (3/3)
hm.. take these with a grain of salt because they’re just suggestions of things to look into!
iriomote cat
fishing cat
flat-headed cat
cheetah
the vancouver “sea wolves”
river otter
aquatic genet
good luck!

I think I might be otherkin (still trying to work that part out) but I'd like to know what the term heartedtype means. I've seen it a few places, but there's not available definition that I could find on the internet for it. Can you help?
a heartedtype or hearttype is something that you identify with!its alterhuman/otherkin adjacent, as otherhearts dont identify AS something nonhuman, just WITH something.
an otherheart might feel close to monsters because of mental health/ect so they would choose to identify with them.you dont have to have a reason WHY you identify with something, you just gotta. identify with them!
i hope this helps!
