not gonna lie, this request scares me... so i changed it a lil hope u don’t mind (also my limit’s 4 [haven’t been keeping up w that, you’re all taking advantage of me!] so i’m just gonna write the ones i know best)

ASHIDO MINA

Mina’s horrified at first, and rightfully so; her s/o’s bloodstained clothing and the wild look in their eye was something better suited to a villain.

But, as they calm down and explain the situation, her horror gives way to awe; they had been walking back from the store when they’d gotten jumped by a group of wanna-be villains. Their options? Hand over their bag, or die. They had chosen the unseen third option; fight back.

Mina asks them to teach her to fight efficiently; after all, they’re Quirkless, and were able to hold their own so well. They sign up for a martial arts class together. Mina’s s/o’s fighting style is a bit too... gruesome for a hero’s s/o.

JIROU KYOUKA

Jirou has a similar reaction, but assumes the blood is her s/o’s at first and rushes them to Recovery Girl. Upon getting the results back (they’re fine, just in shock), she demands to hear the story.

They were in the store shopping when a villain group had decided to hold up the place. Before they could even get their ultimatum fully out, though, Jirou’s s/o was beating them into submission.

They attend an anger management class twice weekly now, although they made local headlines. ‘Quirkless bystander stops villains in their tracks!’ Although she’ll never admit it, Jirou is proud of her s/o for standing up for others. Even if their way of standing up put six people in the hospital.

URARAKA OCHAKO

Uraraka almost faints when her partner walks into her dorm, covered in blood and dragging a bloody bit of piping behind them. “Call an ambulance,” they say, before collapsing on the couch and staring at the ceiling with a blank look on their face.

She drags them down to the nurse’s office where they get a shock blanket and a cup of tea. Uraraka doesn’t press for the story, and honestly? She’s not sure she even wants to hear it.

Her s/o is very visibly affected by... whatever happened to them, so she goes along with them to counselling and is always there to lend help whenever they may need it.

YAOYOROZO MOMO

Momo is out for a walk with her s/o when they hear shouting from the treeline at the park. A group of thugs are trying to steal a civilian’s backpack. Before the hero student can react, her s/o is already sprinting toward the commotion.

It’s over before it began. Momo’s s/o throws one punch, knocking one of the criminals out, and the others scatter with their friend, and without the bag. Momo watches in amazement as they wipe the blood from their knuckles on their shirt, and ask the civilian if they’re okay.

Luckily, nobody on the right side of the law was injured, and Momo and her s/o got treated to a free lunch. Playing hero ends well, sometimes. “Are you sure I can’t convince you to join the hero course?” Momo asks, to which her s/o only smiles.

IIDA TENYA

He’s super proud of them! Iida comes to every performance they’re in and brings the biggest bouquet he can find.

However, his pride in them is both a curse and a blessing; Iida will constantly bother his s/o to practice their lines. “There’s no such thing as being overprepared!”

Not really sure how to act in the crowd so gives them a standing ovation every time they come on stage. Iida has gotten kicked out of a few theatres this way.

KIRISHIMA EIJIROU

Kirishima is also really, really proud of his s/o! He’s so devoted to going to every performance that one time he went when he had the flu and sneezed all over the stage and four people got sick but it was worth it

Almost always has flowers for his s/o; after a performance, after practice, in the middle of the school day... they always come along with a “congrats on the good show!” tag.

Offers to help his s/o practice and he’s surprisingly good at it. Maybe he should join them at their school.

MIDORIYA IZUKU

Midoriya not only comes to every single performance, he comes to every. single. practice. Except one time he overslept and missed a show and he still feels awful about it.

This boy is no peasant, bringing his s/o flowers; no, he brings them stuffed animals. And not a small, cute teddy bear; they’re those six foot tall ones that he can barely get into the theatre and has to buy an extra seat for.

He’s super popular amongst the student body of his s/o’s school; they all know him as ‘the green-haired kid with more school spirit than the students’. Owns a shirt from every single performance his s/o has been in and wears them frequently.

i feel i’m kind of a mix of kano shuuya from kagepro, xion from kingdom hearts, and kevin from wtnv; a mildly unsettling liar who tries to act happy to distract from the fact that they don’t have anything inside, and nobody will remember them, anyway.

ayy, welcome, @boku-no-hero-hcs! the bnha imagines scene is a great place to be!

um, i don’t really have much advice specific to bnha writing (i’m fairly new as well, i think... time isn’t real for me), but i DO have advice for fic writing! under the cut for length!

whatever you do, POST. FREQUENTLY. i’m super bad with remembering to do this and my popularity has suffered for it. especially with the best first feature tumblr put out (thanks tumblr), it’s hard to develop a readerbase if you don’t put content out!

along with posting frequently, tags are your friends! if you follow me, i’m sure you’ve seen the rather obscene amount of tags i put on my writing. the more (related!!) tags you have = the more people who can read your work.

it’s ok to take breaks every once and a while but if they exceed about two weeks, i recommend making a hiatus post or at least closing your askbox

um learn how tumblr actually works because i have no idea and i feel like i’m suffering bc of it

oh! make sure you treat your readers well! they’re not just numbers, they’re people who keep tabs on what you’re writing and enjoy what you post! i have a few people who always pop up in my notifs and it makes me really happy :)

overall, just make sure you have fun while doing it! remember that this is not your job, it’s something you do for fun, and it’s okay to take time off or make joke posts or do whatever you want. it’s your blog, run it how you want!

KIRISHIMA EIJIROU

 When it gets cold outside, Kirishima is known to bring hot chocolate/coffee for his classmates. He comes in bearing loads upon loads of hot drinks and he’s brought a few people to tears.

He’s really good with fashion, especially cold-weather fashion, so Kirishima always looks well put-together, even when it’s four degrees outside. Hats, scarves, boots, the whole nine yards.

Speaking of hats, he gets the worst hat hair. Sure, it just looks like his normal hair, but he knows the difference and while he’s not embarassed, it bothers him a little.

SHINSOU HITOSHI

Shinsou is known for stumbling into class, minutes before the bell, wrapped in a fluffy blanket and carrying a giant cup of hot coffee. He proceeds to shotgun the whole thing without even looking up from his paper.

Shinsou is also really good with fashion! But his taste is more of the ‘I-woke-up-like-this’ casual; he can rock the hoodie and pajama pants look. Colours? Coordinated.

He’s always cold so if his classmates see him shivering, regardless of how cold they may be or how many jackets he has on, they will pretty much always pile them on top of him. Many times, Shinsou has woken up from an in-class nap to find every coat in the classroom around his shoulders.

YAMADA HIZASHI

It’s common knowledge that Yamada is a giggler. Especially when it comes to his girlfriend. He tries to tell a story about something they did? Good luck to the poor soul that’s trying to get any information out of this story.

His girlfriend finds it super cute that he laughs so much, and thus has every single thing that could possibly make him laugh memorized. A big trigger is playing with his mustache; just running her finger along it is enough to send him into hysterics.

It doesn’t even tickle. Yamada just thinks it’s so funny that she’s that fixated on his facial hair. He thinks it’s cute, she thinks it’s tacky (but still cute, in a way).

He’ll often jokingly plead with her to stop. Emphasis on jokingly. In reality, he wants nothing more than he and his girlfriend laughing together over something stupid. Forever.

BAKUGOU KATSUKI

The first time his boyfriend faints in front of him, Bakugou freaks out. He stands over his passed-out boyfriend’s form and shouts for about five minutes before realising he should probably take him to Recovery Girl.

When he comes to, Bakugou demands an explanation. His boyfriend details his Quirk usage and how it makes him dizzy, and in extreme cases, hallucinate or pass out.

Bakugou forces him to endure extra training to prolong his Quirk’s limit. It’s in the name of love, but damn, Bakugou’s a tough (and notably awful) teacher. Eventually, Aizawa has to step in and take over the training.

SHIGARAKI TOMURA

Shigaraki is no stranger to dizziness and hallucinations (although his are brought on by sleep deprivation), so the first time his boyfriend mentions it, he shouts at him about needing more sleep.

He gets really irrationally angry when his boyfriend explains that it’s not a lack of sleep, it’s a side effect from his Quirk. Shigaraki spends about ten minutes angrily ranting to himself about the stupid side effects. It’s kind of cute.

Much like Bakugou, Shigaraki puts his boyfriend through training to eliminate, or at least reduce, the side effects. He also asks All For One (depending on timing) if there’s anything he can do. Of course, his boyfriend is never going to know how much he cares. He doesn’t need to; Shigaraki’s bad at hiding his feelings.

SHINSOU HITOSHI

Honestly? The first time Shinsou’s boyfriend gets dizzy and passes out, the purple-haired boy lies down to join him. Shinsou knows all about sleep deprivation, and he knows all about how good naps are.

Of course, he suggests his boyfriend take up extra training to help with the less-than-ideal side effects of his Quirk, but he’s much gentler with it than the others. He offers to help, though.

Most of the time, Shinsou’s just support. He helps his boyfriend around whenever necessary, and is always ready to help. Think of him like a really tall service dog with the added bonus of sleepy cuddles.

YAOYOROZU MOMO

While she loves her girlfriend very much, Momo is a bit wary of her Quirk. Manipulating fear is a bit... scary.

However, her girlfriend is training to be a hero, so Momo is very sure they’ve found a use for it that is heroic. If not, the black-haired girl is very open to helping her!

While Momo may have never experienced her girlfriend’s Quirk for herself, she’s seen what it does to anyone she fights and... oh, man. That’s one potent Quirk.

If her girlfriend ever feels bad about having a Quirk “better suited for a villain”, Momo’s very quick to defend her and list reasons and ways that no, that person’s wrong, your Quirk doesn’t define your occupation and it’s a person’s heart that defines their heroic spirit.
