I found out that in German, you don't say "I am hungry" or "I am fearful", you say "I have hunger" and "I have fear" and I really like that version better.

hands down the best word in the German language is 'Seelenklempner' which is a humorous word for therapist and translates to 'soul plumber'

I miss teaching German sometimes. Like when else am I able to bring up the fact that the German verb tragen means to wear as in clothes, carry, as in a bag, or bear as in the psychological burden of your childhood and your parent’s inability to come to grips with your fragile and broken relationship?
