yeahzack:
he understood that killian must have been feeling an overbearing amount of pressure, especially due to the last past week. while he didn’t know exactly what had gone on, it had lead to suspensions which was pretty serious in zack’s books. he was curious, but knew it wasn’t his place to ask what had happened. as wrong as it was, he was glad to see killian somewhat angry because he knew that it was a sign that the cast meant a lot to him. zack always saw him as this authoritative work-father figure and it was strange for him to see that slowly— killian was becoming a friend. he was strict but dependable, valid and reliable. “i figured,” he spoke softly, “… sounds like you need a break though. i mean, i don’t really know what’s happening but — i’m guessing you can’t be very productive when you’re like this.”
“i’m plenty productive,” killian argued, his words coming out a bit more harsh than he had intended. he sighed, knowing that he may have hurt the boy’s feelings. “a break sounds nice right about now, though. too bad i can’t afford to take one,” he said, throwing in a small chuckle to lighten the mood. “but if you’d like to go out for drink sometime...i wouldn’t object.”

roxcnne:
the television hums in the background, dialogue that roxanne doesn’t feel like paying any attention to. her gaze is directed to the book in her lap, as ivy dozes peacefully at her feet. contented in this moment, there’s only one thing that could make it any better; and he’s on his way. a thump at the door pushes roxanne off of the couch with a sigh. after hopping onto her feet, she tightens her grip on ivy, the kitten who snuggles in her arms. she opens the door with one hand, staring up at killian with a warm grin. “you can always let yourself in, y’know. you’ve been here enough times.”
killian was generally a busy person, but one text from her and he would drop everything to go directly over to her place. at this point, her home has begun to feel like a second one for killian. he smiled when she opened the door. roxanne was one of the only things that could coax a truly genuine smile out of him. “i know, i just like making you get up,” he said. he stroked ivy briefly before crossing the threshold. “what are we watching?” he asked gesturing towards the television.

stellzabrams:
Stella had walked out of studio three that afternoon after receiving a new copy of the script she misplaced in her trailer. After reaching the exit if the studio, she bumped into a chest. It felt very hard and thin, so she assumed it was a male. After she reached down to grab her phone and script. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t see where I was going…,” Stella locked up to see Killian, rolling her eyes. “Oh. It’s you. Then I take back my apology.”
killian, of course not paying attention to where he was going, felt something very solid run into his torso. he glared at her, almost wishing he could shoot daggers from his eyes. “lovely to see you, too, my dear stella,” he said. he smiled, but his eyes betrayed the sincerity. “your lines coming alone alright?” he asked, hoping to keep stella suffering in his company for at least a few more seconds.

aiileens:
aileen saw killian in front of building 70, the building she so conveniently was headed towards. she was a mess, hair pulled up and a baggy pullover hanging off her small frame. purple bags lined her eyes, and she seemed paler than usual, it was obvious the past few days had been rough on her. she decided avoiding him would be pointless, so she held her breath and walked towards her boss, hoping that maybe things would be ok. she held onto the last sliver hope left in her body as she spoke up, “ hey killian — ” was all she could manage to get out. the words she had rehearsed for two days we’re stuck in her throat like a ball of gum she accidentally swallowed.
killian’s week had been full of confrontations. his voice would have been hoarse from yelling if he wasn’t already accustomed to having to yell to be heard on set. he was so full of disappointment that at this point, he had almost stopped caring. had the crew’s actions not affected himself, killian probably wouldn’t have given a shit in the first place. “aileen,” he said tightly. “what is it?”

hadenabbott:
the minute he heard killian’s voice, haden’s entire body turned cold. he felt like a little kid who’d been caught stealing cookies, but, like, a thousand times worse. he’d found him. in all honesty, haden had avoided killian that morning. he knew how angry he’d be, and with everything else going on, an angry killian was something he wanted to avoid. however, hearing his more calm voice, haden was slightly wishing he’d experienced angry killian rather than disappointed killian. “okay.” was all he could make out. he knew it was his job now to listen and take whatever his brother had to give.
killian sighed. he knew that they weren’t actually related by blood, but ever since they were in high school, killian felt a responsibility for haden, because he knew he didn’t have anyone else. killian was determined to be someone to him, and he was. he fought off the bullies, made sure the girlfriends were okay, et cetera et cetera. they knew each other, there was no doubting it. “look, i know it’s not all your fault. i already talked to samson, he owned up to a lot of it. but i still...just want to know what was going through your god damn head, haden. you’re better than this.”

yeahzack:
zack’s shock as he watches killian storming out of the building. he looked as though he was burning with rage and the younger man couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of worry. greekcraft meant the world to the entire team, but the stakes were especially high and harder for killian, who was left to pick from the wreckages. furthermore, he knew it wasn’t good for killian to be walking around angry around set, especially when security was so low. “killian!” he called out, jogging his way towards the other, “… take it easy man, breathe for a bit.”
killian almost didn’t hear zack call his name through the sound of blood pumping through his ears, but he turned to face his coworker as he approached him, reluctantly doing as he said, inhaling deeply and letting it out slowly. it didn’t help much. “sorry,” he mumbled. “i’m just a little...disappointed in a few of our coworkers,” he said , still taking deep breaths.

roxcnne:
“the party was fun, at first. it wasn’t even a rager. but then, um, someone — some idiot, really — had an idea to play a drinking game.” of course, roxie wouldn’t let on to the fact that SHE was the idiot who roped everyone into the game that started the night’s descent. after a moment, she sat up, casually closing distance between the two. “we had tequila. and it was truth or dare. so — there were dares. i got dared to do a striptease.”
killian nodded. “i saw,” he said quietly. he wasn’t about to admit that he was jealous, because he wasn’t he simply thought it was stupid to do something that could have such negative repercussions. “who dared you? some pervert, i bet,” he said, throwing in a tiny chuckle to lighten the mood.

rivermatthers:
river actually managed to arrive on set with no problem, trying to avoid any questions of the events that happened. the intern took almost every and any task she could with little talkback as possible, allowing herself to do what she does best. in midst of her rush around set, she could see killian leaving building 70 in a manner that caused her to turn on her heels and make her way in the opposite direction. “damn —”, stopping as fast as she turned, river let out a sigh knowing she couldn’t avoid him for long. bringing herself to return to her original path, river neared killian with caution, “ killian — hey,” she started, saying what she deemed a safe start.
killian felt as if he was physically heating up with rage, but if there was one person who could calm him down, it would be river. he stopped in his tracks upon hearing her voice. “river,” he said, his heartbeat slowing slightly. “you weren’t at that stupid party, were you? i don’t think i saw anything about you.” he almost wanted to hug her. killian always found that the intern had a rather calming aura, even if she was just as much of a perfectionist as he was.

scmson:
samson was supposed to be at home today, getting rest. but he couldn’t keep himself away from the studio, after everything that had happened last night. he’d been looking down at his mess of a twitter timeline when he nearly knocked over another figure. samson stopped in his tracks, eyes wide when he realized who he was facing. “hey,” he offered weakly, raising his hand to wave. he winced, both from the physical pain and the discomfort of the situation. “look,” he said, breaking the silence, “i’m really fucking sorry man,” samson ran a nervous hand through his hair. “i… i mean, it wasn’t all haden’s fault. mostly me. well, not totally me, so like, fifty/fifty. but… you get my point,” he scrambled, unable to form a logical sentence.
jesus. not this guy. killian knew that samson would have to be confronted sooner or later, but he felt that right now, his anger was better being taken out on non-sentient objects. the fact that samson just so happened to be here was just fucking perfect. “you’re sorry?” killian asked, incredulous. he supposed it was mostly all he could say at this point, but it still did not equate to the amount of damage the kid had done. it was hard to be angry looking at the guy, covered with cuts and bruises, yet the flame of his rage was still lit. “did you even know what you were doing? or were you too fucking hammered to think about the consequences? how it would affect other people?"

navidisms:
taking a couple of minutes to have a smoke, navid was leaning against a wall by one of the least used entrances of the building, huming to himself as he lit up the cigarette that only seconds later was kept between his petals. not noticing someone going that way, he groaned softly as the doors opened, hitting him on the back, “ oi ! easy there. ” he called out at the older man, even when his tone didn’t have an ounce of challenge or even annoyance to it. he simply looked over to see who it was before going to take a hold of the cigarette, pulling it away from his mouth as he exhaled.
even just the sound of navid’s voice was almost enough to completely set killian off at this point. killian turned on his heel, getting up in the guy’s face. “you were at that god damn party?” he asked through gritted teeth. “do you even know how much was on the line? jesus christ.”

danimaestro:
danielle’s heart sank as she saw her boss appear before her. he wasn’t management, but he was still… in charge. she wanted in no way to seem like a disappointment. she held the cigarette out to him with a nervous laugh, before shaking her head. “no, no… you don’t need to see the aftermath. everything’s mostly clean anyway, but,” she looked up at him, “thank you.”
killian took the cigarette, let it hover over his lips, thinking. he sunk down next to the producer and took a prolonged drag. he wasn’t necessarily accustomed to smoking, but he had learned how to keep from coughing. “i’m sorry, by the way,” he said, handing the cigarette back, “for...all the shit that happened. doug was just...saying words, and i found myself nodding along.”

journal entry, 1/10/17 -
i can’t say that i completely understand all of what’s been going on this past week. i know there has been a lot of yelling on my part, and that a few drastic measures have been taken in the studio in the past few days, and that i’m the one who helped doug take them. it’s not like i had much of a choice, though, right? haden and dani were partially responsible for everything that ensued during and after that god damn party. i don’t know, maybe doug just manipulated me because he wanted them gone and was mad at the media.
i’ve been totally slammed with things to do since haden and dani aren’t around to do them (and their temps aren’t much help), and with several crew members taking days off to recover from their injuries, i haven’t had much time to slow down and just think, which is why i’m grateful for this journal. even though there are probably ten other things i should be doing right now, getting my thoughts out on paper is quite therapeutic, actually.
all in all, it’s been a busy week. i know i still can’t really know everything that happened at that stupid party, because i wasn’t there. i haven’t decided if that’s a good or bad thing yet, because obviously it would have changed my judgement a little if i’d been hammered myself, but i don’t think i would be any less pissed had i been there. it isn’t like i can go back in time and see what would have happened, anyway. maybe none of this would have happened, and maybe it wouldn’t have changed anything. it’s hard to tell. either way, there’s nothing i can do now, so i guess it’s not really worth any thought.
whatever happens this coming week, i hope it doesn’t compare to this one.
- k.p.

samson: hey listen i just wanted to talk to you because of the whole viewing party thing... i just wanted to apologize for the whole mess
samson: i am slightly at fault too
killian: how did you know i was just about to text you?
killian: i'm still not entirely sure of exactly what happened but i hope you know you're not off the hook just because you apologized.

yeahzack:
respect was a big and valueable thing to zack, particularly once it was earned. and throughout his time working with killian, it was undoubtable that zack held him almost on a pedesta. despite being in a position that zack though was most certainly higher up, he always felt as though killian never acted as though he was better. he never abused his power and for that, zack couldn’t do anything but admire him. he was hard working and creative and zack truly desired to learn more about the art of storytelling through him. he felt at ease to see that the older man didn’t mock him, but rather kept his scatterbrain moment under the rug. “that’s no good, i hope you at least attempt to during the holidays though. i know i will, i’m always looking for more excuses to sleep. that’s probably very unhealthy, isn’t it?” he added rhetorically with a chuckle, “… what’s on todays agenda?”
killian held a liking for the kid. he seemed modest enough, even though he was pretty much one of the big stars now. when killian was younger, he found it hard to believe that actors and actresses were anything less than gods, but now, working alongside them, he knew that they were completely ordinary people, much like himself. though, the actors tended to get recognized on the streets much more than anyone working behind the scenes, and he remained impressed that they all, for the most part, retained their sanity. “i can hear my bed calling my name already,” killian joked with a smile. “i’ll definitely try to get rested up as well as i can,” he said. “well, there are a few things that need tweaking on the latest episode, so i was going to supervise those. honestly, zack, you don’t really need to be here until shooting. if you want to go find some place to take a nap, be my guest.”

greysonhaught:
Greyson tilted his head for a second, looking over the lights. “It looks like maybe someone might’ve bumped that lighting rig over there.” He pointed over to a setup a few feet away. But he couldn’t be sure. “Positive. If there’s one thing I know about, it’s making coffee. I’ve made enough of them to know. How many coffee’s have you had?”
killian glanced in the direction in which greyson was gesturing. the rig did indeed look a bit crooked. “you’re right,” he said, taking out his phone to make a note. “i’ll make sure to talk to nova about that,” he said aloud, while also writing it down. killian broke a small smile. “today, you mean? maybe three. in my lifetime? probably too many.”
