She stayed sitting on the couch beside him. "Yeah, don't expect to any time soon. Could I get you something to eat?" She asked sitting up ans setting her drink down on the table."I can make you something if you want."

She set one on the table and went back to grab another one as a storm began to rage outside. Winds picking up. Trash getting thrown, she was glad the windows were up on her truck.

She walked inside and opened her fridge, grabbing a beer and stepping into the living room. "You want one"

"That man intended to kill her. If it were not for us intercepting him, he would have, that's a soul that it is going to cost me..but..she is a little girl..children haven't done anything wrong to deserve a cruel fate.." she spoke softly."That mark, means that she was given a second chance.." there were scars on her wrist already on Gaze. She took her knife out of her pocket and made one more. Draining the black blood from her wrist."..." she stayed silent untill they were home.

Gaze opened the door and got out, taking the mask off the little girl, there was a small red line along her wrist.. it was a NDE mark.. near death experience.

"If you ever have another problem..momma will be here to protect you, your other mother.."

The little girl smiled a bit and nods, hugging her tight then running inside to her parents. Not as if they noticed..

Gaze walked back to the truck snd got in."lets go back to my house or somethin.."

Gaze left the corpse to rot and looked at him and the little girl. She held the little kid and then stared at Bryan."Drive to 327 Hollow tree drive." She said sternly as she pushed him into the driver seat, sitting with the little girl in her lap singing hush a bye baby

The guy was panting and looked at gaze with horror as she took one of the canisters off her hip, putting it in his mouth and releasing the trigger, he quickly decomposed

She looked at him and growled. "What are you doing!?" More then one voice could be heard from her. "GET HIM!" she growled and sat the little girl in the middle seat

She pressed the gas and the truck took off flying, for what seemed like 30 minutes went by as they pulled up in front of an older looking building, a former flower shop. "I miss the old owner, feral...stay put.." she said sternly going inside, after a moment or so, a man came flying out the second floor window, followed by green smoke, a shadow in view before Gaze reappeared at the front door, mask off and now on a little girl, the man took kff running down the road, Gazes teeth were showing in the most demonic smile..

She started up her truck and it roared rather loudly, but, she waited on him to join her

"Good.." her voice was solemn, walking ti her room and coming back with a 9mm strapped to her hip, three red and black canisters, and a gas mask on her beautiful face, she tossed him a mask as well. "You may be an angel, demon, thing, but so was he.." she pointed to the near disintegrated wings on the wall."Trust me. I suggest putting it on.." she said as she walked out the door to her chevy pickup, it looked a little run down

She chuckled and looked over at her TV as an amber alert flashed across the screen."..." a frown crossed her face and she sighed."Humans..are fucked up creatures, they steal from each other, murder, rape..your chance of getting through to them is really slim no matter who you are, they don't listen to officials. They don't bother hearing what anyone else has to say.." she spoke quietly."Okay Bryan, we can be friends. But, you need to help me on something.."
