Carolynne Snowden (ca. 1931):
“Fiercely ambitious, Snowden (1900-1985) wanted to call the shots. She billed herself as ‘Creole Carolynne’ and hired her own group of chorus girls and began directing, choreographing, and producing her revues…In the Age of the Flapper when Clara Bow and Joan Crawford were heating up the screen, Snowden believed she, too, had the goods to make it in the movies. As much as her white counterparts, the haughty Snowden personified the hell-bent-on-breaking-the-rules modern young woman – not bound by the prewar rules and restrictions that men had created…Finally the studios hired Snowden, not as an actress, but to teach jazz dancing to such white stars as Constance Talmadge and Bessie Love and the Charleston to Joan Crawford. She danced in von Stroheim’s The Merry Widow and played small roles in The Gilded Butterfly, Orchids and Ermine, and Llyod Weber’s The Marriage Clause. Maintaining a back-breaking schedule, she performed in the clubs, often two or maybe three shows a night.” - Donald Bogle

Minor Asteroids + Indicators
from Alyssa Sharpe’s Facebook page
Certain minor asteroids can help you learn more about different aspects of your life and can serve as indicators in your chart. If minor asteroids in your chart do not form conjunctions or very tight aspects with larger, more prominent placements in your chart, generally speaking, you can ignore them.
Below are the asteroids related to different aspects of your life or talents. If you have many of the asteroids listed forming strong harmonious aspects or conjunctions with planets such as the Sun, Venus, or Jupiter or placed in certain prominent houses like the 1st or 10th house, that can indicate positive outcomes related to that aspect of your life or talent. For example, if many of the asteroids listed under “fame” are strong or powerful (i.e. form strong harmonious aspects, are in prominent houses) in your natal chart, that can indicate fame in your lifetime.
If you would like to see your natal chart with any of the following minor aspects added, go to astro.com > “Free Horoscopes” > “Extended Chart Selection.” Enter in your birth information, and when you arrive to a page where you can select what astrological chart you would like, scroll down to “Additional Objects” and enter the number of the asteroid you would like in your chart.
