You could swap the names of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Sinister Turmoil, and Eternal Darkness and literally nothing would change."

Not to pick a fight but already picking a fight: Silent Hill is extremely fitting for its setting as it's named after the TOWN of Silent Hill, you couldn't name it Resident Evil or Eternal Darkness because nobody names their towns those things.

Eternal Darkness is the same (also the full title is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem which proves you don't even know that much about the thing you're bitching about.) an excerpt from wikipedia:

"Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is an action-adventure video game developed by Silicon Knights and published by Nintendo for the GameCube in 2002. It was produced and directed by Denis Dyack. The game follows the story of several characters across a period of two millenia and four different locations on Earth, as they contend with an ancient evil who seeks to enslave humanity"

So, NO, as you can see you cannot change that to "Resident Evil" it doesn't even begin to touch on the ETERNAL aspect that drives the ancient evil.

Oh top of all that let's go back to Resident Evil:

Multiple people could be the evil resident in question, from the head of Umbrella who is seeking to find some manner to conquer aging, to the actual scientists working with the viruses and whose greed and power hunger lead to the situation at hand in most games, to the actual viruses themselves who reside within people once infecting them, bringing out evil onto society.

I know you probably meant it as a joke, but please think harder.

The “phone bad” mindset really annoys me because access to accepting internet communities, earbuds so I can drown out overstimulation, the ability to communicate over text and email and the wealth of information easy to reach from google has been so important in accommodating me.

Was watching a documentary type thing with my parents today and one of the scenes showed an athlete visiting some school thing specifically for autistic children.

The entire time, they were shedding light on how hard it was for the parents living with an autistic child, how exhausting and how shameful it is.

Not ONCE did they acknowledge what it must be like for the child to live with autism. They were offering all this support to the people around them and none for the child whatsoever.

Fuck “autism mums”. Fuck parents who make their child’s diagnoses and issues all about them.
