Chapter 1

Y/N POV

"You lost your locket?", ____ bombarded you with questions. "Where would it be? Have you checked the classroom? Have you checked the-"

"____, I couldn't find it", you looked down at your shoes.

"Did you ask if anyone saw it?"

"I asked Jaehyun"

"Why Jaehyun out of all people? He doesn't even know what the locket might've looked like", ____ sighed.

You tried to grasp for your necklace, remembering it wasn't there. You stared at your hand.

"I had a feeling, that he might've known what the locket looked like"

"You don't mean- you think he might have been the promised boy?" ____ exclaimed. "Sorry Y/N, but you guys just met, and you already think he's the one? Don't you think it's too early right now?"

"I understand what you're trying to say, ____. But I remembered something. A memory of mine popped up. I remembered a boy with brown hair in my memories. It could be him"

____ gasped. She looked surprised, but she quickly extinguished it. "Y/N! Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I was so worried about my locket that I forgot, sorry". You looked over at your watch. "I'm going to go back to the school to look for it. I'll see you tomorrow"

Both of you said your goodbyes and parted ways. You made your journey back to the school. You walked towards your classroom. You checked whether or not anybody was watching, and looked through the window from the door. A figure was seen, crouched down near your seat. You gasped and moved away from the window. Did they see you? Mustering up your courage, you looked back through the window.They were up now, sitting on top of your desk.

It was Ten.

Ten's POV

As I was packing, I overhead Jaehyun talking to a girl. "Have you seen my locket? The locket is about this small." The girl showed the size with her fingers.

A locket?

"Ah, no. I haven't. I can help you look for it though"

"You don't have to! Thank you"

Jaehyun and the girl left the classroom.

A feeling of nostalgia washed over me. My heart was beating fast. Is it what I was thinking-

"Ten, you coming?"

I looked over. Doyoung was waiting for me. I walked over to him and we both walked out of the school together.

"I saw you looking at the girl, did she catch your attention?" Doyoung smiled mischievously at me.

"Shut up", I slapped his shoulder.

My mind was on the locket again. "Doyoung, I'm going to go back for a while. You can go ahead without me, I have something to do".

Doyoung gave me a confused look, "Are you sure? We were going to go get food, remember?"

"We'll get food next time"

He shrugged, "Suit yourself".

I ran back inside the school, into the classroom. After entering, I immediately searched for the locket. I walked towards Jaehyun's desk and searched. I looked at the cabinets behind the desks and found a small, circular object. I picked it up and examined it. A metal chain was attached to the object. I turned it around, finding the keyhole.

"How did she not find it?", I asked myself, amused.

I took a look at the structure of the locket.  "It's cute. Good choice", I said to myself. I touched the keyhole, and images popped up in my mind. They were flashing. Images of a girl with long Y/HC [your hair color] running towards at me with a huge grin at me, laughing. She placed her arms around me, letting me dissolve into the warmth of her comfort.

I snapped the memories away. I was trembling. I stood up and sat on a nearby table and stared at the locket. I reached for my key chains, and shuffled through the keys. I took the gold-colored key and moved it towards the key hole.

What am I doing? This couldn't be the one.  Why am I so nervous?, I thought to myself. My thoughts were cut off by a small, but faint gasp. I looked up. Through the door, I saw someone. I quickly hid the key and locket away.

"Is anybody there?" No way in hell someone would answer to that. I started to walk towards the door and before I can open it, the door opened.

Y/N's POV

You heard Ten's footsteps gradually getting louder and louder. What was the point? He knew someone's there. No point in hiding now, you tried to change your expression and opened the door.

There he was, standing right in front of you, with a nervous look which was quickly changed into a poker face.

"Oh, it's you. The girl who lost her locket."

You cleared your throat. "My name is Y/N, first of all. Second, how did you know I lost my locket?"

He gave you a sideways smile. "You did say it quite loudly when you were talking to my friend earlier."

"You're friends with him?"

He started to fidget with the zipper of his jacket. "Yeah, we are. The foreign (A/N: swaggers) exchange students are friends."

You made a mental note of that. "Anyways, did you-" You paused, trying to gather up the courage.  "Did you happen to find a locket?"

He looked like as if he was contemplating something, and said, "I did happen to find a locket near Jaehyun's desk. Does it happen to be yours?" He went through his pockets and pulled out a locket and placed it in your hand Your locket.

You gasped, "This is my locket! I can't believe you found it! Thank you so much!" You said happily. "You're a life saver, really!"

Ten grinned. You felt your heart beating. His smile was really something. "Glad I can be of some help".

"Some? What do you mean some? You really helped me by a ton! Thank you so much oh my god. Is there something I can do for you? You know, as a thank you?"

"Woah, hold on. You don't have to give me anything. I just stumbled upon it."

"No no no, I seriously do owe you something. I'll find a way to pay back." You clicked your tongue and smiled.

"Are you sure? Ah, I can't really stop you, can I?" He took a good look at you and looked at the clock. "I have to get going. I'll see you tomorrow in class, Y/N."

Both of you said your goodbyes. You watched him leave the classroom. You sighed and sat on top of your desk. You were happy that your locket was found and back to you, but the scene you saw before walking inside the classroom distracted you. You placed the locket around your neck and held it. You remembered Ten looking through his keychains, pulling out a gold-colored object, which looked like a stick. Without thinking, you gasped.

Stupid, I ruined the moment to see whether the locket would open..., I thought to myself.

You thought about the keys. "There might have been a small chance that Jaehyun is the one, but there is Ten. So who is it?", you said to yourself. You ran your fingers through your bangs. "Ten had a key, but Jaehyun gave me a nostalgic feeling. Ah, Why is this so confusing?" You exclaimed. You stood up, walking through the door, unaware of the figure with piercings that was watching you.

"She's looking for the promised one too?," Ten asked himself. "Jaehyun met Y/N before?"

Ten took out the gold key. Looking at it, he thought about his promise with the girl he met. Is she the one?, he thought to himself.

(A/N: WELP. I had time so I decided to write Chapter 2. I hope you liked it ;~; I tried my best. Sigh, it's going to take a while for people to notice this story, but who are you rooting for? #TeamJaehyun or #TeamTen?)

    The faint memory of the boy's smile gleams inside of your mind. His laughter echoes, and you feel like smiling as well. He took your hand, and placed a small, circular locket down. He held out a small, metallic key. "When we meet again, when we're older, we will unlock what's inside this locket. We'll see what was inside and we will..."

 "Y/N! Have you been listening to anything I said just now?", your best friend, ____, said.

You blinked a few times. "Ah, sorry. I spaced out again. What were you saying?"

____ sighed. "You're thinking about that boy again, are you?"

"How did you know?"

"You always start fidgeting with that locket of yours" She clicked her tongue. "Y/N, we'll find him, don't worry. If he is also looking for you, you'll find him soon"

She smiled, "Anyways, let me tell you what I said earlier. I overheard from the girls that work in the office that we're having foreign exchange students, in this class. 6, to be exact. I heard they were pretty-good-looking guys. Four are from Korea, one is from Canada, and another from Thailand", she wiggled her eyebrows. "Think one of them is the promised boy?"

You over-dramatically rolled your eyes, "Ah ____, why do you tease me so?" You grinned. "I mean there are chances that it might happe-"

The bell rings and everyone starts shuffling in their assigned classrooms.

"Hello everyone, please take a seat. I got important news for you", your teacher says. Everyone attentively listens.

"As you may have all heard, we have some new students", she looked over to the open door and gestured to come in. "You may come in, all of you. Please introduce yourselves one by one".

The boys came inside the room in a single-file line. You heard high-pitched squealing and a lot of "OOOO's and AHHH's" coming from the girls. You raised your eyebrow up in a confused look, then realized what was going on.

If the girls are going about to themselves, maybe the rumors were true, huh?, you thought to yourself.

You examined the first boy carefully. He had a defined jawline and pretty pink lips, but that wasn't what caught your attention. It was his eyes. His sharp eyes that can catch any girl's heart in seconds.

"Hello, I am Taeyong. Lee Taeyong. I'm from Korea. My English isn't really good, but I hope it will do well here in the States"

Taeyong. I'm sure I'll remember that name, you thought to yourself. He doesn't give off that vibe, however. He's pretty visually pleasing though, you ended your thoughts there and turned your eyes towards the second boy.

He had white porcelain, and a masculine, yet pretty body. His face definitely compliments his body. Pretty lips, pretty nose- pretty everything.

I definitely fail as a girl, you thought to yourself.

"My name is Yoon-oh, or you can call me Jaehyun or Jay. I was born in Korea but stayed in America for 4 years so, that's why (A/N: I'm here man) my English is fluent. It's nice meeting you all"

You sighed and muttered to yourself, "I'm jealous". Your friend gave you an amused look and mouthed, "Me too" and made hand movements of his body. You laughed. You quickly extinguished  your laugh and move onto the third boy. That was when you jumped in surprised.

The third boy was handsome as the other foreign exchange students. He had an incredibly defined jawline, a cute nose, and pierced ears. How many piercings does he have?, you thought to yourself. Five, Seven?

"Hello everyone, my name is Ten. No, I wasn't born with this name, it's just a simple name to call me by. My real name is Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul. Complicated, isn't it? I'll stick with Ten." He grinned. Your heart skipped a beat.

He also has a blessed smile, you made a mental note to yourself.

"I'm from Bangkok, which is in Thailand. I studied some English so, as you can see, my English is also fluent as Jaehyun's English. Thank you for your time"

Ten? Now that's a name I'll remember, you thought to yourself, once more.

You glanced over to the fourth boy. Now, he was a cutie. He had big, puppy dog eyes, and a mouth that reminded you of a bunny's.

"My name is Kim Dongyoung. You can call me Doyoung though. I'm from Korea, and...uhm, I like to sing. My English isn't the best, but hey, I tried"

He kind of gives me that vibe, but I'm not 100% sure he is him, You glanced over to the fifth boy. He reminded you of a child. Cute, plump lips. That caught your attention. You examined him more. He was simply adorable.

"I'm Mark Lee, and I'm from Canada. Like Ten's and Jaehyun's, my English is pretty fluent. Thanks for listening"

He had a cool and chill voice. It was actually refreshing. Your eyes moved to the last boy.

"My name is Moon Taeil. You can call me Taeil. I'm from Korea and I like to sing and play the guitar", he looked around nervously. "And um, I guess that's it"

Your mind immediately went over to the memory of the promised boy. You hear singing, a sweet, melodic voice and the strumming of the guitar. Was it him?

"Thank you for introducing yourselves. Please sit wherever you like", the teacher gestured them to sit.

That's when the shouting begins.

"Taeyong, sit next to me!"

"Jaehyun, over here!"

"Please sit by me, Doyoung!"

"Ten, please come here!"

"Come on Taeil, over here!"

"Mark Lee!"

The boys were smiling, flustered. Jaehyun glanced over to you, and took the seat in between you and ____. Ten took the seat next to the window, which was just one seat behind you. Taeyong took the seat in front of Jaehyun and Taeil took the seat near the door, which was across the room from your seat. You frowned.

Doyoung tried to look for other available seats, but there was one open spot left, next to Ten.

Ten glared at Doyoung, "Why do you have to sit next to me?"

"Ah, sorry bud. There's no other choice", Doyoung sighed. "We'll talk later"

The boys glared at the foreign exchange students. You predicted that they might do something about it later.

The classroom was ecstatic. The girls that got to sit near to one of the foreign exchange students were joyfully smiling to one another. Everyone, but you. Jaehyun took note of that.

You looked over to Jaehyun.

"My name is Y/N. It was nice meeting you", you said politely.

He gave you a dimpled smile. "Nice to meet you too"

"Okay class, that's enough. Now let's go onto the assignment. Please get your textbooks and turn to page 572" Your teacher puts on her glasses, flipping the pages.

During the whole lesson, you couldn't focus. Your eyes were on the textbook, but your mind was somewhere else. You were aware of Jaehyun's actions. You tried your best to look natural, tried to impress him. But why? Maybe you were just not expecting this to happen, having a pretty boy sit next to you. Maybe you weren't just ready.

Should I take a look at Jaehyun. Is he watching me?, you wondered. I shouldn't.

Despite the fact you thought, "no", your eyes looked over to the right. There he was, writing on his paper, not glancing at the textbook one bit. He feels you watching him and looks at you, raising one eyebrow. You quickly looked away.

God dammit Y/N, you cringed. He probably caught me.

You sighed and looked at the questions on the paper. You flipped through the pages on the textbook, trying to find the answer.

"Where is it?", you muttered.

"Do you need help?"

You looked at your right, seeing Jaehyun looking at you. He smiled, "I learned this already back in Korea so, I can help you a bit. What number are you on?"

"I'm on number ten"

He takes his paper and flips it to the front. He's already almost finished?, you watched him, impressed.

"Ah, number ten. Okay Y/N, the answer is on page 577. It's about..."

"Oh! That makes sense now", you smiled. "Thank you"

He returned the smile, "You're welcome"

Jaehyun's POV

"Okay class, the bell is about to ring soon. Please pack up. Those who didn't finished will have to finish it at home for homework." Your teacher takes off her glasses.

I pushed the paper inside my textbook and placed the textbook in my case. I looked over at Taeyong, who was stretching. I was coming over to him until I heard Y/N call my name.

"Jaehyun? Can I have a minute with you please?" she said.

I came back towards her.

"Have you seen a locket? It has a small keyhole and the locket itself is about this small", she made a hand motion. "It has a small but long chain which keeps it held up, like a necklace". Y/N said worriedly.

"Ah, no. I haven't. I can help look for it though"

She looked happy for a second, but quickly changed her expression. "Oh! You don't have to. Thank you though", she gave me a reassuring smile.

"Oh, okay. I'll see you around", I walked towards Taeyong, who was waiting for me.

"What took you so long?", he questioned me.

"Don't worry about it," I said. "Actually, Taeyong. I have something to do after school so, I'll see you tomorrow".

"Sure, go ahead. I'll see you later"

I walked ahead, out in the front of the school, towards my house. I held my bag behind my shoulders.

"A locket, huh?"

I touched my neck, which holds a necklace, taking the necklace by its strings and pulled it forward.

I held the small bronze-colored object into my hands. Inside my hands, was a key.

"Is she the one?"

(A/N: HELLO EVERYONEEE I hope you liked this Chapter. Sorry if my writing skills are rusty as hell. I tried my best. Sorry for the cliffhanger too, haha. I honestly free-handed the whole thing so even I don't know what's going to happen. However...is Jaehyun really the promised boy?)

Hello! I saw that you are doing written ships and I was wondering if you can do mine with BTS! If you don’t mind! :) I can’t mask my feelings well and people can read me easily. I’m usually described as a shy and demure individual but once you get to know me I am bright, intelligent, 4D(quirky), joyful, & fun. My hobbies include drawing, listening to music, reading manga (Japanese comics), watch anime, swimming, and driving around. I am also a very open-minded individual as well.

I don’t wear too much makeup even on special occasions and I always give everything an 110% :) My fashion is very simple but when I go out with friends I dress up more fashionably! I can get along with people and I always like to help them out if needed. I usually also have a mild temper and I have a very easygoing and quiet personality Because of my shy personality I can be socially awkward at first. I also blush really easily if I get nervous and shy and then I start to stutter a lot. I also get mistaken for having a cold personality when I don’t.  I also have long wavy brown hair and a baby face known amongst my friends. Big brown eyes, long eyelashes, and I have a fit body.

I am half Chinese, latina, and quarter french (European descendent) I’m also afraid of bugs and love boba. Former junior Olympic athlete for swimming and swimming for 7 years with 1 or two records at a community college for a high school swim meet. I hate being a burden and say sorry a lot. I am also an INFJ and I like to cosplay and play video games like final fantasy, kingdom hearts, resident evil, metal gear solid, and devil may cry etc.  As well as I have the tendency of being too nice and not looking for myself like putting others before my needs and my friends always tell me to take care of myself as well and smile more often.  

In my group of friends, I’m usually the little sister despite being older than some of the friends, I’m usually protected or taken care of.  I also make puns that are corny and bad haha.  I am also humble and modest, I do not give myself enough credit for what I do and when ppl give me compliments I try to look for something even if I do not know the person and I tend to get flustered, shy, awkward, and quiet about it.  I don’t really like being in the spotlight that much or gain attention, but my friends and from my observations they told me that I have this aura that attracts people even though I am not being an attention freak etc.
