Ah thanks for doing that just to message me, that’s so sweet my goodness ;A; sorry my reply is a little late, I’ve been a bit absent on tumblr lately ! //soft hugsThank you for your nice words :’) don’t worry, I expected people would be bashing my artwork for the Sigurd and Deirdre datamine (if that’s what you mean) because it’s not exactly Heroes standard, but I was just really happy to draw the characters since I hardly ever see art of them :’)Hopefully they’ll be in Heroes for real soon!

I think it's glorious that you had good enough art to troll an entire subreddit. Bravo bravissimo. Also, I honestly thought those were pencil crayons and not watercolors.

I was taken by surprise that they commissioned me for it, since well, my art is traditional. I thought people would think the datamine would be fake right away :’DYeah, when scanned it can look as though it’s pencil, especially since the paper I used doesn’t have the smoothest texture. I promise you it was all watercolour! xD

you do a lot in water colors do you mind if i ask how you keep your lines so clean and dont accidentally lay the colors on too thick or know when you have the right amount of water on your brush??

I don’t mind at all ; v ; uh, I don’t really know but I guess practice really helps, and your hands becomes more steady that way perhaps!As for knowing when you have the right amount of water on your brush, you learn that by doing it so it kinda becomes instinctual ^^ Sorry if that wasn’t too helpful though ;A;

Hello! I'm a new fan~ your art is incredibly good and inspiring! I've got a question... idk if it has been asked but what brands of brushes do you use especially the riggers? Thanks and best wishes!

Thank you so much for following me Anon ; v ; and for the kind words aaa asgdhdajhahdjThe brushes I use are all synthetic and Daler Rowney brands mostly, but I have a few by uhh.. Royal Talens..? My brother got me those while abroad so idk xDThe Daler Rowney ones I use are a little stiff and not as soft, I think. But they last a long time due to that, probably.I rarely use riggers now, but the liners do look like them. I usually get the smallest size or just a little bigger.

The second volume is still in early stages and I’m still researching a few things. I’ve even taken up Kenjutsu so that I can get an accurate feel and experience of samurai swordsmanship and how people behave in dojos :’D (also for fun but don’t tell the tax man that) I’ll be drawing it up soon, last time I only had a month to make the first book so this time I will be taking my time and making it nicer and more pages! 💪('ω'💪) thanks so much for asking about it!!
