Theirry henry, one of the worlds deadliest strikers, started his career at Monaco, not doing to much . Won the Ligue 1. Then a couple of years later after going to Juventus and leaving soon after, the french striker was making headlines at arsenal. On the 7th of august 1999, henry made his arsenal debut, coming of the bench in a 2-1 victory over Leiciester city.
Henry was on fire at arsenal alongside other legendary players, the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, patrick Viera and many others. Theirry was an absolute goal machine at arsenal, scoring 228 Goals and providing 93 assists for the gunners in just 376 appearances. The french star went on to win 2 premier leagues and 3 FA cup titles with the north London giants, and also winning the world cup with the french national team in '98, Premier league golden boots,Premier league goals of the Tournament and ma y more team and individual trophies.
At Henry's time at arsenal he scored many great goals as he had the equal ability to rip apart a defence as he did to smash a screamer in from long range. In his 8 year stint at arsenal, he cemented himself as one of the greatest strikers the world has ever seen.
No one thought the day would come, Henry moved from his prime club, Arsenal, to the Spanish catalans, Barcalona. Every one thought this was the end, but he proved every one wrong by winning more and more trophies in his short 3 years at Barca, winning major trophies like 2 laliga titles, a club world cup, 1 Spanish super cup, a european super cup and the highly prestigious, UEFA champions league, one thing he couldn't win at arsenal. he scored another 80 goals for barca. but in 2010, Thierry henry ended his european football career going to the states to play in the MLS.
He played for the new York red bulls to finish his career and announced he was retiring from football in 2014. Henry ended his career an accomplished player, with the trophies goals and records to prove it. He will always be remembered as absolute joy to watch on the football pitch
