regarding your answer about the biological kids ask... are we forgetting the child bearing pills that were part of tgcf canon uwu. Why cant they exist for them?? Also...if wwx's self-lubing ass is canon, why cant he birth kids after being such an obvious omega? me thinks thats possible, let my guys attempt the impossible and make adorable babies! justice for huaxian! >:(

but yes i think theyll adopt too, they do know what happens to kids on streets and if they can give kids a better life, why wont they? but also i think they'd definitely enjoy making babies themselves too. they can certainly raise them well on their own + lots of help from ghost city residents who love them! And wen remnants if we keep them alive for AUs!

Though they do get reprimanded by Wen Qing that they should use some protection otherwise they would create a Clan full of biological Baby HuaXians and Wen Qing can't deal with that.

Wen Ning on the other hand is appointed as the Babysitter because all the children love him.

Here is my Headcanon on how Hua Cheng and Wei Wuxian meet:

So we all know a Bitch called Wen Chao.

He threw Wei Wuxian into the Burial Mounds, hoping he would die.

Yet Wei Wuxian didn't die but came back even stronger than before.

So what if he fell so deep into the Burial Mounds that his soul reached Ghost City?

While Wei Wuxian is at a loss and wanders around he follows a few 'people' (he doesn't know that he is currently a spirit).

Hua Cheng is alerted to a strong and powerful presence, other than his of course, entering his Ghost City. As he is seeking for the presence, he comes face to face with a lost Wei Wuxian.

Hua Cheng, the gentleman, decides to show Wei Wuxian around and the two share their knowledge with each other.

Wei Wuxian eventually tells him about the possibility of demonic cultivation and is prepared to be laughed at or judged as many others have done so. Yet Hua Cheng doesn't do either of those, instead he becomes intrigued and asks questions, fascinated by Wei Wuxian's mind.

Having found someone who would listen to him and support him, Wei Wuxian starts his journey into demonic cultivation. Hua Cheng is with him every step of the way.

Three months have passed and Wei Wuxian has finally broken through. He has become the creator of demonic cultivation and created the Yin Tiger Tally.

During those three months, Hua Cheng and Wei Wuxian grew closer and closer. They shared their life stories and their understanding reached a higher level.

When it was time for Wei Wuxian to return, he was hesitant on leaving.

On one side he had to go back to Jiang Cheng and Yanli and take revenge on the Wen Clan for eradicating the Jiang Clan.

On the other, he wanted to stay with the only person who understood him, who supported him no matter what, who he shared a bond so strong that he didn't know what it was...

He didn't want to leave Hua Cheng.

Yet he had to.

He knew. Hua Cheng knew.

Hua Cheng reassured Wei Wuxian that he will always be there for him. He will always watch out for him.

Hua Cheng created Chenqing as a gift for Wei Wuxian, knowing how he liked to play the flute.

I mean, I do like Xie Lian. He is quite funny and very clumsy. 😂 I feel like something more could have been added to his background story but it wasn't too bad.

There are different types of stoic and silent characters. I personally like those with an interesting background story. (Example: Sasuke Uchiha)

Hmm, that's an interesting question.

Wei Wuxian is not always the "Yiling Patriarch". Most of the time he is just Wei Ying, and as Wei Ying he isn't always ruthless. He is a funny jokester but also a pitiful person who receives a lot of judgement from those around him. He always brushes everything off, but we all know that secretly it hurts him.

I feel like Hua Cheng would be the one to protect him from such treatment. He will definitely become Yandere for Wei Ying. Kill all who hurt Wei Ying. But then again he wouldn't kill all because Wei Ying is a good soul, who would stop Hua Cheng from doing that. Not saying that he would stop Hua Cheng from killing the bad apples of society.

And Wei Ying will likewise be Yandere for Hua Cheng. We saw what happened with the bad people of the Wen Clan (though I do love Wen Ruohan 😩). Wei Ying is sweet and kind, but the Yiling Patriarch Wei Wuxian... You don't wanna be on his bad side.

As for the possessiveness, both are possessive. There is no other way about it.

Wei Ying has someone he can call his, because he doesn't belong to someone else. Someone who follows him everywhere, someone who understands him and his cultivation.

Hua Cheng has someone who makes "life" fun and interesting. Someone who thinks outside the box and chose the darker cultivation because he thought it was the only way to protect those he cared about.

So yeah, they are both possessive of each other.

I can honestly only see Hua Cheng as the top. He does also seem very dominant. (He could only be topped by someone more dominant then him, but even then it's a 50/50)

Wei Wuxian is more feminine in a sense and he doesn't seem to mind being the "woman" in the relationship.

o shit more books! this time of my own fic, poly philtatos. these copies were bound for the incredible @redbeanp13 (whose gorgeous fanart i have blown up comically large and pinned on my wall), @thychesters, @missingn000, and one other very sweet reader. there was a fifth copy in the pile who died tragically to a case-in error, so it will have to be remade.

anyway! more info and typeset photos below the cut.

these are quarto flatback case binds with a really funky layered cover made from over 26 pieces. it might not be super easy to tell in the pictures, but there is a physical ridge in the middle exposing the colored paper, with cloth on the top and bottom. i wanted to mirror the typeset, and i think i pulled it off!

the title and cover design are done in gold HTV, and the exposed colored papers are all marbled lokta. the endsheets are also printed lokta with coordinating painted edges and blue/yellow endbands. each book also has a 5mm silk bookmark topped with a gold charm that looks a little bit like one of zoro's earrings if you squint, hehe. iykyk.

now look at my typeset, boy. im 99% sure its what killed my printer (and good lord that was a whole sidequest for these binds).

anyway, thank you to the lovely readers and friends who requested this book. your patience has been invaluable and i hope u enjoy these copies <3

Are you from Latin America? Latin America fandom loves huaxian on Facebook. There's a community for it and lot of fanart too on Facebook for it.

I'm not from Latin America, I'm very much European. I actually liked the idea of Hua Cheng and Wei Wuxian, due to their similarities. I'm glad that there is a community of people enjoying the ship. 🖤❤️🖤
