love when xfiles just puts scully & mulder in a well-known and beloved horror movie classic. 1x08 ice ripping off the thing (1982). 4x02 home taking inspiration from texas chainsaw massacre (1974). i too am always watching horror movies and thinking to myself, this is great but wouldn't it be better if scully & mulder were also here

Funniest x files moment is the jersey devil episode when scully goes on a date and it doesn't go well and she has a character development moment about weighing how much she wants a normal life and relationship vs being dedicated to her career and the x files. And then it cuts to mulder looking intently at a drawing of a bigfoot with boobs

Obsessed with the x files episodes where like someone will go missing and they’ll go to the victim’s last known location and see like a normal ant crawling around and mulder will go “I think the victim was kidnapped by two hundred ants disguised as a human being who took the victim because they need to digest organic matter in order to have the strength to build a giant anthill” and scully will go “that’s insane” but mulder will literally be right beat for beat

x files is SOOO funny it's the only fanbase i know where almost all of the gay fans are begging for a heterosexual relationship to be blatantly canon and the straight man writing the show refuses to let it happen
