headcanon : monsteresque features

-  like  the  eyes  of  many  animals,  hera's  eyes  reflect  light.  meaning  they  can  glow  in  the  dark  and  her  eyesight  in  dark  is  very  clear.  it's  very  off  putting  at  first  and  since  hera  likes  to  keep  her  more  monster  aspects  of  herself  hidden,  she  does  try  to  hide  this  with  contacts.  especially  at  the  club  lol -  her  teeth  can  change.  and  she  has  3  available  "sets"  of  teeth  essentially  lol  the  main  set  and  the  most  commonly  seen  are  her  human  teeth.  they  look  completely  normal  human  teeth.  and  when  she  feeds  upon  blood  she  can  shift  into  her  second  most  common  set,  that  look  like  standard  vampire  teeth.  the  final  shift  is  the  most  frightening.  more  shark  like  in  sharpness  and  the  fact  that  she  has  rows.  kind  of  a  cross  of  mileena  from  m.ortal  kombat  and  jennifer  in  j.ennifer's  body  (tw // horror  -  mileena  ,  jennifer) -  hera  is  very  hot  to  the  touch  (lol  but  no  im  serious).  as  the  empousa  had  limbs  and  hair  of  flame,  hera  now  embodies  that  flame  beneath  her  skin!  def  a  new  reason  behind  why  she  wears  light  and  little  clothes  for  the  most  part.  she's  hot  and  trying  to  stay  cool!  she'd  also  feel  like  a  lil  furnace  when  you're  standing,  sitting,  laying,  or  cuddling  up  next  to  her! -  and  last  !!  (almost  forgot  to  include  this  so  sorry  for  the  edit)  although  hera  has  these  more  demon/monstery  qualities.  she  is  still  very  much  human.  she  has  just  been  cursed  by  an  ancient  daemon.  she  is  quite  strong  but  she's  no  where  near  super  strong  or  with  inhuman  strength  or  speed.  nothing  like  that.  she  is  just  strong  for  her  petite  size  lol  and  perhaps  a  bit  more  agile  and  athletic  than  the  general  public

i'm technically working rn but wanted to contribute a lil something... so have this lil  cheat  sheet  on  how  to  make  hera  feel  good  uwu  turn  ons,  how  to  keep  her  happy,  just  a  cheat  sheet  on  how  to  handle  hera. 

001.  i've  mentioned  it  in  a  headcanon  about  her  love  languages  but  i  cannot  emphasize  enough  how  important  quality  time  is  to  her.  even  if  you  are  not  physically  near  by,  phone  calls  or  video  calls.  just  making  a  little  bit  of  time  for  her  shows  her  a  lot  and  it  means  so  much  to  her.  she's  definitely  a  gal  that  doesn't  need  to  hear  i  love  you  very  often  as  long  as  you  show  it  to  her  in  ways  she  understands  like...quality  time.  (and  on  the  steamer  side,  most  of  the  time  calls  will  turn  intimate  or  into  the  sexy  nature.  she  can't  help  it!  its  hot  that  you've  made  the  time  to  chat  with  her  lol)

002.  neck  kisses  and  whispers  /  behind  the  ear  kisses  and  whispers  (especially  the  back  of  her  neck  /  nape  of  her  neck,  and  the  side  of  her  neck).  i  think  in  general  these  are  sensitive  spots  to  a  lot  of  people,  but  especially  hera.  the  side  of  her  neck  would  be  the  easiest  for  a  muse  to  access  to  turn  her  on  as  you  have  to  remember  hera  does  not  do  well  when  someone  sneaks  up  behind  her  (it  can  be  very  triggering).  so  as  long  as  you  maneuver  approaching  her  from  behind  in  a  'safe'  way  (ie:  with  some  kind  of  warning)  it  is  the  EASIEST  and  best  way  to  get  hera  to  melt.  and  i  mean  she  melts.  it  gives  her  some  chills,  it  gets  the  butterflies  going,  it  gets  her  a  lil  wet  dhflgjk  if  youe  goal  is  to  really  turn  her  on,  this  is  the  way  to  go.  (and  on  the  steamer  side,  i've  mentioned  before  doggy  style  --  although  very  loved  by  hera  --  is  rewarded  to  those  she  can  trust.  so  you  already  have  the  extra  spice  of  making  hera  feel  secure,  then  to  lean  down  and  kiss  the  back  of  her  neck  or  whisper  something  there  or  whatever  ??  that  is  melt  worthy)
