my addison... my little creature... they can send email...

whenever spamton fell off, an ecological niche for an obnoxiously persistent email marketing addison opened up, and follow-up's basically in the same position that spamton was when he was a nobody. they're a nobody. and they're... pretty comfortable with it, even if a little bit socially outcast.

they also chronically fumble every single friendship and relationship imaginable and get ghosted by everyone </3

the few times they get any meaningful responses are from phishing scams and malware, and they've had their social security breached countless times. they never learn. rip

Thats uh, a pretty bad case of burn-in Tenna....

SO uh I guess this is an AU and I'm sure someone else has thought of this but I really like the idea that Tenna in his free time will re-run a specific big shot ad just because he really miss.More specifically he will run the ad and then pause it on a very specifc frame of just Spamton and sit there, staring at his face for hours. Poor guy loses sleep over it even.

Now the down side to this and with crts in general is when you start to do this by wearing them down they start to overheat quicker and obviously theres the visible side effect of it too where I'm sure his crew has noticed that its wayyyyy easier for him to get warm and I mean that suit plus stage lights and all the moving he does, doesn't help. Not to mention sometimes he has to be monitored during his breaks so they can make sure he DOESNT run the ad because the picture might start to come in too clearly.

I'd imagine this might be part of Tenna's shock therapy, that "Mike" might have him play the ad during the therapy so that he associates it with bad things but its just really not working because even though Tenna won't directly admit it, he misses spamton more than anything else, even his ratings.

That being said I do think that the only people who really can see, or get the chance to see Tenna's burn-in, is Mike and the Spamton when he comes back to Castle Town and they really get to talk for the first time.
