"I didn't really expect you to come back here."

His eyes widen at your comment through the grate. "You wanted to s...see me? Even after yesterday?" You nod your head, a soft but embarassed smile on your face. He knew the two of you had been quite close recently but he would've never expected you to need to see him.

"I never would've imagined you needing to see me. I've always dreamed of moment where you need me." Hector retracts his hands from the vent to cover his face, but only for a moment.

The return of his slender hands has you staring for longer than you should have. Hector realizes this and lets out a joking remark.

"Ahhh I see you staring, would you like to hold them?"

"If you don't mind?"

His hands drop down, hitting the edge of the vent, his eyes are wide as he stares at you. You've suprised him for the second time tonight, Hector is shocked that you would want to even hold hands with him.

After a few seconds of silence he stretches out both of his hands, slightly sweaty palms facing you. You can't help but giggle at how nervous he is about holding your hands.

You intertwine your fingers together, the heat from both of your hands coming together to create what feels like a hot spark.

"I hope you can forgive me for my nervousness, I just love the way your hands fit in mine."

You melt at his sweet words, you never thought that your air conditioning could be so romantic.

The two of you sit and talk for a few hours about everything you could think of, sharing silly stories about your day to day life. All while you and Hector's hands are still held together, never letting go until it's time for you to finish the rest of your daily tasks.
