Atticus, seemingly now a nightly routine, waking his mother up because of a nightmare. Knowing that Micah is sleeping, she carries him out into the hallway and soothes this fears and worries with one of her special hugs. She’s trying, she’s trying to embrace motherhood.

Alyssa : Shhhh. It’s okay. Mommy’s here now.

A very rare moment caught on film of Alyssa actually playing with one of the kids she helped create. Little toddler Lukas, and Micah’s finally enjoying the fact his wife has stopped from her ‘busy’ schedule as being a stylist to enjoy the little moments with the kiddos before she regrets that she didn’t do it when they are older. Micah has plenty of memories doing this with Quinn and Lukas, but this is the first time she’s ever done it.

Alyssa : We’re an airplane! Safe for landing! Lukas : *giggling and sticking arms out* Micah : That’s my girl.

Quinn had just made her way upstairs to talk to her baby brother Atticus. Even though she doesn’t care for her siblings, her mother’s presence or lack there of, bothers her. So she goes into soothe her crying brother.

Quinn : Shhhh. Hey, Atty look at this! It’s a rattle! *shakes it around* You’re just so handsome you know that? I wish I could pick you up, but something tells me if mom finds out, she won’t be too happy. It’s okay, there’s 5 of us, we’ll figure this life out with or without her.

Alyssa, supposedly the one with the best chef skills, scared of flambeing food. Then again, she is in her second trimester with the twins Raven and Roman. She just had Aviana and Atticus not too long ago, so she’s paranoid about catching on fire.

Alyssa, Micah and Quinn enjoying a slice of birthday cake. The conversation seems to ignore the fact that today should be all about Quinn.

Alyssa : Rosa was telling me today that the twins and Lukas reminds her of her own grandchildren. Micah : That’s wonderful, sweetheart. Alyssa : With the new promotion being underway, I’m going to need a larger office, Micah. I can’t work with something so small. Micah : Where are we going to put your new office? On the roof? There’s simply no space to give you a bigger work space without compromising space for all the kids. Quinn (just above a whisper) : Happy birthday to me... I guess...

Alyssa, for the first time, is holding her daughter while celebrating the most pivotal moment of her life: growing older into a child. Quinn is oddly confused at first, stunned is perhaps the better choice in wording, but she doesn’t question it. Her mother made her a blue cake topped with candles she was to blow out. Usually, it’s just her father that stops and makes time for her, but now it’s not just her father, it’s Rosa, and her mother. Lukas is too young to understand really. She blows out the candles and the cheers echo through the kitchen and living room with confetti dropping to the floor. For once, Quinn knows what it feels like to have all eyes on her.

It’s Quinn’s birthday morning! Micah had just gave his daughter the most luxurious bubble bath anyone can possibly give someone, and who says you can’t work up a sweat after the bath? It’s Quinn’s birthday, she can if she wants to.

Micah : Oh where did you go? I know I seen you somewhere.. Quinn : *giggling* Micah : Aha! I hear it, I hear you! Where did you go.. *turns around* ah! There you are! The birthday girl! Quinn : Daddy!!!

One of the earliest memories Quinn has to this day, is this moment between her and Micah.

Alyssa had just achieved her very first promotion working in the fashion industry. To get where she’s at it’s been a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved. Micah finally quit the acting gig he thought he was cut out for, and started staying at home with the kids. There is starting to be a shift in the tide, and this sweet moment between a mother, whom made a promise to her son as a newborn, and her son.

Lukas : me love you mama. Hug! Hug! Alyssa : *laughs* of course. Mommy loves you Lukas. Don’t you ever forget that, you hear me?

Quinn and Lukas are just enjoying the meal their mother cooked, they have no idea what it is, but if it tastes good, they’ll eat it. The two garbage disposals of the family, Alyssa and Micah got extremely lucky with that. The two are in utter bliss this morning, as they enjoy each others company, babbling away at each other.

Alyssa just had Aviana and Atticus, she’s now feeding him, looking down at his sweet face as he drinks from the bottle in her hand. Her heart melts, but she feels even worse inside. She still had yet to form a bond with Quinn, and here she was, adding two more children to the mix. She had to keeping telling herself one day, she will figure out this thing of motherhood.

Alyssa: you’re going to be a little spit fire, I can sense it.

Oh, Alyssa. You weren’t wrong, you definitely weren't wrong.

Despite Micah losing his job, Alyssa dove head first into the fashion industry and they decided to proceed with their new house and add cosmetic upgrades as they moved along into their lives. But unbeknownst to Quinn and Lukas, while their father was out on an audition to make money for their family, their mother was giving birth upstairs to their newest brother and sister, Aviana and Atticus. The two met each other in a sweet embrace and this is one moment is one that symbolizes their entire relationship.

Lukas: sissy! Quinn: bubba!!!

Alyssa was in her second trimester with the twins, at the time, just a stay at home mom, trying to potty train her son. Micah was just fired for turning over information he found about the mistreatment of clients money. He gained fame for it, but he lost his job moments before, and they were in the process of moving to a new house. Lukas didn’t understand why his mother was so tense.

Alyssa : Come on Lukas. Please just go potty on the potty. Lukas : ???????? Alyssa : *frustratingly sighs*

Rosa, the family butler who’s been with the Kessler’s since Quinn was a toddler, and Alyssa was pregnant with Lukas, feeding baby Lukas at just a few hours old.

Rosa : maybe this job is not so bad. I miss my grandbabies, and you are just the sweetest thing.

Quinn, again, finds herself alone, she eventually wonders her way around the whole house and finds the master bedroom door locked, and her dad was at work. So she wonders back downstairs to the kitchen where she picks up little puppy Zippo.

Quinn : Friend? Friend.

Zippo immediately respond with a wave of kisses.

Alyssa and Micah had just came home from a dinner party. She hadn’t quite had time to get out of her formal dress before feeding Lukas, but at least she had enough time to slap on a face mask, huh?

Alyssa : I know you don’t understand me, but things are going to be different with you. So different. I feel more of a connection with you than I do your sister..and I feel more guilty about that then I’ll ever admit..

Now that introductions of the parents and the tiny human army they made together (seriously it’s crazy, 6 kids, 4 pregnancies, can anyone say yikes?), I think it’s time we get into story time mode! :) In case anyone didn’t understand, the line goes (from oldest to youngest) Quinn, Lukas, Aviana, Atticus, Raven, Roman! <3 This crazy family also has two dogs, Stella (the pug), and Zippo, hyper little ball of energy, with a butler named Rosa!

A little about Roman Kessler:

Roman can be a bit on the clingy side, but it’s just because he loves his parents (and maybe because he’s the youngest)! He’s also the different one of the group. He doesn’t really hang out with his siblings, he’s kind of the social outcast. But he’s already showing signs of being extremely smart! He enjoys learning things on the kids tablet, or playing in the ball pit. He doesn’t really care for his older brother Atticus, but that’s because he’s tired of hearing him cry and watching him break things.
