Artist Statement
#blogcrit3
This is the final piece in my body casting series. It was a challenge to cast my self and it was also a challenge to have one someone help because we both needed to be correlated. The contact I signed for the class required eight pieces, so here are the last three. The hands are different pieces from separate molds.

Going Next
#blogcrit3
I want to replace the graphite body parts and use dirt next time and focus on the roots instead of the flowers.

Struggles
#blogcrit3
I mainly struggled with adhesions, my last pieces were drilled through, these required various trials and errors of glues for the flowers to stick to the graphite alcohol mixture

Here are some progress shot of pieces, I casted the neck and chest together, it was nerve wrecking to have to cut them apart. We did it! The photo on the bottom right is plaster before/while it cures. #blogcrit2
