Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 4
I remember there was this one shot in the 4th episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 that became popular, and was even talked about in Tonight with Jimmy Fallon. To explain, the scene showcases Tormund celebrating with Jon Snow with Daenerys sitting in the back. It was known already that the setting of the series was supposed to be close to what the real world considers as the medieval era. However, in the scene, a Starbucks cup is seen, which obviously does not exist during that time period. People simply made fun of the scene and even had Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke both lightly blaming each other for the mistake. It was an honest mistake but it takes the experience out of the audience. That is why setting the scene accurately matters so much in filmmaking. We want the watchers to really feel the time period that the show is set in.

COCA-COLA #KababaeMongTao kaya kahit ano kaya mo. From the video, various customs harmful for women are portrayed that it is quite common in Filipino culture. Sayings like "kababae mong tao, ang lakas ng boses mo", "kababae mong tao, ang brusko mo", "kababae mong tao, ganyan ka umupo" and even "kababae mong tao, ginagabi ka ng uwi", are some of the examples that Filipino women have to constantly put up with because many still cannot get past the old, and unprogressive customs of our country. The good thing, however, campaigns such as this one are starting to become more vocal in promoting women's rights, and rejecting the sexist and misogynistic notions of a lot of Filipinos.
This art card is to celebrate Filipino women. Yes, sure, the color red may be the color of Coca-Cola, but red is also the color of passion and desire. Today, we must be part of the change that women are fighting for, where little girls can dream of anything and follow what their heart desires without being afraid of stereotypes and prejudice.
Babae ka kaya matatag ka. Babae ka kaya matalino ka. Babae ka kaya lumalaban ka. Babae ka kaya kahit ano kaya mo.
