OK so to everyone asking about the phantom Fredrick the great comic I might have made and forgot about it, it would be under the Napoleon tag. I’m not seeing it on there though. Is it showing up for anyone else?

Like I said I’ve been having issues with comics disappearing I’m not sure what Tumblr’s problem is.

have you ever seen the film Electric Dragon 80.000v? it's a black and white film that seems your style (strange, obscure, lots of punk/screamy music), kind of similar to Tetsuo but more of a fun action movie than a scary body horror movie

The tattoo is a Dead quote from a live Morbid recording.

Yes, Necrobutcher is the one who said that and I didn't know that until I met him and he told me he was actually the one who said it and not Dead. 🤣

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me messaging you this but I figured it was worth a shot. My therapist has recently brought up that she thinks I’m bipolar, type 2 specifically. I haven’t been agreeing with her and I just keep putting off actually digging into that, but I recently came across your art and it really resonated with me. I thought I didn’t “fit” into the bipolar category cause I don’t experience mania/hypo mania , but I didn’t really realize it could just manifest as anger and irritability until I saw your art. If you’re comfortable with it, I was wondering if you could share some ways in which hypomania has manifested for you, because I fail to notice it myself in my own life a lot and examples would help. Again you don’t have to, I just figured it was worth a shot. Really like your art btw, have a good day.

Hypomania in my experience has shifted since I have the correct medications now, before I was diagnosed I was rapid cycling- which is shifting from one mood to another (usually depressed to anxious) multiple times a day. That’s where the irritability showed up with me, it was during rapid cycling. The fact the two moods were depression and anxiety are what made it appear to be Bipolar 2.

I’m on the correct medications now so hypomania manifests differently. Now it mimics Bipolar 1 a bit more with things like excessive shopping and then flipping into depression later about it. Example being I went insane last summer and bought tons of Kandi bracelet supplies and made almost 100 bracelets. I still have the anxiety as well accompanying it, it’s usually more of a flat line amount that doesn’t go away as opposed to the totally frantic anxiety before I was diagnosed.

If you are experiencing depression and anxiety back and fourth I think it’s definitely worth pursuing the Bipolar 2 diagnosis, like I said within my comics for me it was racing thoughts/severe depression and irritability.

I hope you can get a diagnosis that makes sense to you soon- I wasn’t diagnosed for Bipolar 2 after having it for several years so I hope the process can be faster for you if it’s the right diagnosis! 🖤
