I was so stressed for how many days and I was delighted because my mother told me that we're going  to attend our relative's birthday party in Damires Hills Tierra Verde. I was extremely happy because it was my first visit. To get there, we took my mother's friend's private car. When we arrived, there were a lot of customers, so I knew that the said place was worth it. I was astounded by the vastness of the location as we walked towards our cottage.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact location: Brgy. Damires, Janiuay, Iloilo- Just a 30-minute ride from Iloilo City

BY BUS: Ride a bus from Iloilo City to the town of Janiuay and take another 10-minute ride to Brgy. Damires via motorcycle.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Damires Hills” in Iloilo. Parking space is available.

There is a large house worthy of the old houses, with each possessing a veranda with a view. Despite their conventional appearance, all of their rooms and cottages have modern amenities such as air conditioning, hot/cold showers, and many more.

With beautifully landscaped and koi ponds, an Aquaponics greenhouse, and various seasonal orchards surrounding you, you can experience the warmth and beauty of nature in its entirety.

When I went there, one of the best parts was going on a canopy walk. We went to the bridge, but we didn't make it to other side because my relatives were afraid to cross. They stated that it was extremely high and that walking towards the other corner have been terrifying

This photo was taken ever since we returned from our canopy walk. The view was both enticing and soothing. The air was crisp and clean, and I felt as if I were in a haven at the time.

The disadvantage is that the signal there was poor. On the other hand, it is an advantage because we can focus and spend time with loved our ones and friends rather than using our devices.

Overall, being here is worthwhile. I encourage you to spend your holiday or getaways at Damires Hills Tierra Verde Resort.

Fernvalley Cold Spring Resort - Nabas

In the year 2018, my family and I visited on one of the most beautiful cold spring resort in Aklan which is the 'Fernvalley Cold Spring Resort' also we stayed there for two days and one night to get chilled.

We traveled by private car for 4 to 5 hours from our barangay which is located in the municipality of Dueñas. When we got there, we booked on one of the nearest cottage beside the pool. It was such a nice view since the swimming pool was literally in front of the room's veranda. We can dive anytime we want as it was was easy access.

I had a fantastic time there, especially because the water was so cold. After how many months of doing school activities had I become relaxed. I had fun scooting down the three slides and swimming in the cold water.

Fern Valley is about a 20-minute ride from Caticlan. It is located in the heart of Nabas, in Barangay Laserna. It is accessible by jeepneys, multicabs, vans, tricycles, and motorcycles.

This nature's haven is nestled between three hills on a hectare of land. It has one baby pool, one for beginners, as well as a large pool with an island. All pools are filled with natural spring water that is continuously flowing and cleaned on a daily basis.

Not only day cottages are available here, they have rooms available for short and overnight stay at a very reasonable rates or simply bring along a sleeping bag with you and enjoy camping and night swimming with friends.

Overnight prices may vary from php 400.00 to php 800.00 0r $Usd8.00 to $Usd10.00 Day visits can cost up to Php 50.00 per person and a guided tour for about Php 100.00 per person.

There is a small bridge that can be used to cross from the other side of the pool.

The slide is one of my favorite spots where I enjoy playing with my family.

Every moment is a pleasure. So here I am, sitting and gazing out at the massive pool.

I had an amazing time in Fernvalley Cold Spring Resort, and it was one of the best year of my life. Although this photo was taken four years ago, the experiences remain.

To summarize, if you haven't already visited this resort, I strongly advise you to visit these places and create moments with family and friends.
