My predictions for their 2025 album:

-It's going to be named some simplistic single word bullshit like "Marmite"

-The cover is going to look like cheesy refrigerator poetry and is going to have the words "Marmite" overlapping each other

-The CD is going to be a big black M on a slightly off white background

-There is going to be a track with an absurd amount of faux jazzy vibes (and TOO MUCH SAX)

-Inexplictable ASMR track that's just Them gently tuning their instruments

-All the songs are going to be under 3 minutes

-They try to do a barber shop quartet and it sucks really bad

-They don't reference current world events at all

-A song that's just 2 short purple prose verses and then loud screaming

-A song that seems like a normal TMBG song but it's at the right frequency to give you appendicitis

being a tmbg fan is wild because every year they're like "wanna hear a new song" and every 3 months an archivist is like "wanna see a tv performance no one has seen for 30 years" and every 2 months someone working with the band is like "wanna see a picture no one else has seen ever"

I'm sorry to say the context doesn't help, it's right at the end of the manga so spoilers (ch93)

Laios says the request he has is for everyone to eat his sister and they freak out (putting the page right before and the page right after in case that helps)

It goes straight from ✨we✨to him seriously explaining himself LMAO

If someone can explain please do, I even checked the original and it really is just him beginning his explanation with "we" (oretachi ga...) but idk why he does that all sparkly

In japanese it makes more grammatical sense to start with "we" in the EHScans translation the 'we' ends up in the middle of the phrase ("everything we've done up until this point)

Anyway I love it cause it just comes out of nowhere and the translation is so awkward since it doesn't match with the rest of his phrase it's amazing <3

I just realized they fixed it when adapting for the official translation tho, made it actually flow
