i know a lot of people do not like her due to her design (understandably so) but the parallels with chasca + childe are insane… i do think it’s really interesting that it also shows the difference in regions and how natlan is very community based vs snezhnaya not having that sort of community whatsoever. the support chasca got after her run-in with the abyss and being able to become a peacemaker vs childe not getting any and being turned into a weapon… ahhhghhhhh ok

why is it so hard for fans of hyv games to treat disabilities normally.. it’s either 1. fetishise / infantilise / make fun of a character who is disabled 2. hate on them unnecessarily / make stuff up (e.g when baizhu was first released and was getting weird allegations + now jiaoqiu) or 3. make art / fics of them being “cured.” it is so annoying being a disabled person in spaces where people can’t be bothered to educate themselves but still continue to talk or write about someone who is disabled and get it completely wrong. it doesn’t matter what your intentions are as it is not hard at all — you just don’t care enough
