Sorry for my broken english, but I wanted to thank you all! I’m new to tumblr … I really didn’t have my tumblr girl era when teen (I had my DA era, a different kind of asylum but here we are) and I don’t really know how to show or interact that much, but I really really reaaally appreciate it (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Little story time: I stopped making fanart since years ago and mainly focused on OCs, pokemon gijinkas designs and roleplays I had with my best friends and shared it on my ig account. I got really nervous sharing my newfound inspiration by rewatching Beyblade and making fanart again, so I just created this account to hide in shame… it was futile, my sister found me in the second day here, hi sis! In fact she was the one who asked me to make some fanart and now I’m here in this Beyhell (8 what a ride 🚂🚂🚂

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.

It just kills me when writers create franchises where like 95% of the speaking roles are male, then get morally offended that all of the popular ships are gay. It’s like, what did they expect?

I randomly selected a character’s name from my Beyblade hat, and I unexpectedly got Souichiro Hiwatari! Wow, I never thought I’d be drawing him! But he was pretty fun! Definitely a good warm-up. While drawing him, I can see which traits Kai inherited. Voltaire’s hair is two toned like Kai’s. Now that he’s old, it’s white and dark gray. I wonder if he had the same colors as Kai when he was young. Kai also has thick brows like his grandpa, especially in G Rev. Kai’s might get bushy like that when he gets to his age. xD I also drew Souichiro’s eyes in a similar way that I would draw Kai’s, which adds to the resemblance.
