SAFE ARRIVAL
We just landed safely at SFO--though, we've arrived early and need to wait on the runway until customs opens at 6. Thank you for following along on our adventures. That's a wrap for the 2017 Kehillah junior class trip!

DAY FOURTEEN
Sadly, it is our last day is Israel. In the morning we played with the children at the home of Save a Child’s Heart in Holon, which provides free cardiac medical care for children from countries where such surgeries are unavailable. We then went to Dialogue in the Dark where students were guided in the pitch black by a visually impaired guide in order to experience a bit of what life is like for some people.
After lunch and some free time at the Jaffa flea market, we went to Independence Hall where students learned about the days leading up to Israel’s declaration of Independence in the very room where it happened.
We then took a stroll back to the beach for some final summary and reflection as the sun set. After dinner, we’ll be on our way to the airport!
