theres nothing more upsetting than reading a print comic and its boring.
#i read mooncakes today. it was so. so unbelievably boring. they didnt even eat mooncakes#when i dont like a comic it either pisses me off (because it has potential) or it makes me incredibly sad (because it has no potential)#the story was so. it had high stakes but also no stakes#it was very Young witch in the alps searching for her neighbor's cat.#the only thing i get out of powering through comics that i dislike is the studious aspect of it. like i get to study and analyze#what exactly i dislike about it. for mooncakes i just didn't. care. about any of it#there's a gay romance between the two leads but they kind of don't have any chemistry they just start kissing and blushing#like OK sure theyre childhood friends. WE BARELY GET TO SEE THE CHILDHOOD!!!!! I DONT CARE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE!!!!#MID!!!! IT'S SO MID!!!!! love checking in on twitter and seeing a bunch of like anime horse girls so im like "oh uma musume is probably updating" and it was but the horse girls i kept seeing werent from that so after more digging i find that these horsey horse girls are from someone doing tests in an engine thats reminiscent of 90s shareware and the horses look like this
