OK, i've tried googling this and no luck, so do you (or anyone else) know how I can put my bingo card in the description of a series on ao3? I've def seen other people do it, but I cannot work out how

Hi, yes. You'll need to upload it to an image host that allows outside linking, or a lot of people just post them on tumblr and then use that image. To get the image link on tumblr desktop, and I use Firefox so I'm not sure how it might work differently on other browsers, you right click on the picture and select Copy Image Link. Then you add an image via the AO3 either using their Rich Text editor and the add image option, or using HTML, whichever you prefer.

If this doesn't answer your question let me know, I'm not the greatest at explaining stuff like this!

Hi, right now I have no plans to run this again myself. But if someone who is not me wants to take up the mantle for another go some time in the future, using my prompt list, adding to it, making their own, etc etc, I encourage that! I don't want to claim exclusive ownership over this, I just want people to take interesting and creative risks in fandom.

That said, you could absolutely just take the prompts and use it yourself, like putting it into a bingo card generator or a list randomizer site and participate on your own. This is a pro-do whatever space.

Nah, and you can just use the collection like normal. The collection's best use is to gather together what comes of the prompts, so even criminals can use it if they're working from the prompt list.

what exactly is the "always an alien" prompt about?

Basically, a character is secretly an alien from another planet and always has been, somehow!

One of the prompts I got was "dark fic" - is that just anything unsettling? I can't seem to find a single definition.

Yeah, basically, but I'll let Fanlore be more precise:

Darkfic is fan fiction that deals with intentionally disturbing material, such as physical and emotional violence. The main characters may be the victims of the violence, the perpetrators, or both. The mood and atmosphere are characterized by a shift away from optimism, toward despair or hopelessness, or even a sort of gleeful exploration of the disturbing. Darkfics do not usually have happy endings.

In my own vernacular I would define it as stories that are a complete bummer.
