Feeling incredibly sick and angry about everything. I’ll go about my day and try to be normal and then it just ambushes me and honestly the only people keeping me sane rn are the Arabs who’ve voiced similar experiences and are staying the course and being vocal despite all the attempts to basically blame everything that’s wrong with this country on us

ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help

I don't want to give too too much away about specifics but I've been working on this horror game to release in the next few days and it's a wonder what a little formatting and some Creative Commons Comrades artwork (major props to Strega Wolf) can do, even if you're just working in google docs

I'm incredibly excited about this one, this is my first big release in some time and I think it's a certified banger. I'm gonna do some playtesting of it tomorrow and try to work out some kinks before I put it down, but I hope you guys will take a look! When I first set up the fundraiser I randomly picked $15,000 hoping the war would end before we even raised half of it...Unfortunately the war is still ongoing and the funds are still desperately needed as less and less aid enters Gaza, increasing the prices of the little that is available. Another consideration is when I transfer the money in bank account, the bank takes a 30% cut of the money. So please, continue to donate, you are quite literally the reason why my family hasn't starved to death yet.

There's an extremely annoying brand of like. Cutesy Fandom Good Vibes Liberalism that basically is the inverse of "you know what? No. Fuck this. Fuck you." and it's characterized by this extremely cloyingly sweet overly familiar tone that's like. "Umm.. hi. I just want you to know that if you're feeling uncomfy because someone said you shouldn't work for Lockheed Martin, but Lockheed Martin is how you fund your comfort hobbies, you are valid. I see you, I love you. You're not doing anything wrong just because performative activists say so. You're doing great. I'm so proud of you. Keep at it. Sending you big glomps. I'm your dad now."
