Next up some statue head studies to help prepare myself on how to light the head and its details just enough for me to be happy with it. I really like this one! I think why I'm doing step by step a lot of the times now is because I just want to see the process working and I think it is ( I blame Michael Hampton Figure Design and Invention for telling me to understand every step of the process ). It is just for some details I'm just more tired at observing and implementing especially for the 3rd head I didn't put the shadows that much for the hair. I do kind of prefer working in this way because at least it gives me a reliable support to produce art and render it convincingly enough for myself instead of just changing up my process every time or going by guts because I have always been a sketch whatever however kind of person for a long while. Not that it's bad to be like that it's just not working for me at the moment. I think when my no.1 trouble in difficulty right now is producing finished pieces this is just my way of building up to that and helping myself understand deeper on each process part by part because after making art for myself for a long time I know how I give up on things easily. Hopefully this way might be slower but in the long run maybe it will help me reach my goal easier. I also like the pacing of it, I am finishing my drawings a lot more instead of switching it up and finishing some and not for some sketches. Maybe the reason why is because I actually feel like I'm processing my learning now instead of rushing all the time. Naur (ಥ_ಥ)━☆゚.*・。゚ Idk I don't want my drawing experience to be frustrating too. Maybe I should just push myself in the way that I can enjoy the process more you know. Will see ( ˊᵕˋ )♡.°⑅ The amount of personal projects I started and stopped because I just couldn't finish it due to my expectations and patience is also kind of crushing but I'm working on it. Hopefully I can share my half-assed projects one day and maybe finish or maybe not finish them. Will see. ૮₍ ꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ ₎ა

A process gif on the steps I took to complete my previous post drawing. This made me remember how tedious I am at drawing things, I used to beat myself up on how I'm really slow at drawing but I learned to not get too hung up on it by just appreciating the process more. I believe I am learning right right? My brain every time I attempt to learn something. After attempting at learning to get better at art for so long, yeah I believe that every step that's taken to get better at something is helpful no matter how fruitless it seems. It's just I might take the longer way but that's okay, everyone needs to start from somewhere to know how to take shortcuts later on. (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`) I'll keep working on it so I can draw my OCs happily ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ Steven Zapata's Livestreams also helps lots. Please check out his channel if you haven't they're so good at just reminding oneself to just draw for the fun and peace of it.

I like to study sculpture so there will be many incoming posts of sculpture studies I did. I find them a lot easier to learn from because a lot of its details are not muddled with texture or materials. My brain can finally process whatever the light is doing on top of the form which is VERY NICE. 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 Should give doing studies of statues a try if you haven't done it before (•̀ᴗ•́ )و Highly recommend it! There's something with how the sculpture is made too. Everything flows so well, I wanna be able to capture that. I think I am kind of getting it but I hope I will reach a day when I can explain it. Fun note: Apparently this Statue is of Jessica from one of Shakespeare's plays, " The Merchant of Venice". ( I didn't know that while I was drawing it haha. Just thought it will be nice to see where it came from ) Links: https://americanart.si.edu/artwork/jessica-33973

Incoming sketch study! I never really did a proper skull render before. Just learned about its parts so I could understand how it relates to the head and draw it properly. I think this was the moment how I linked concepts from Michael Hampton's rhythmic line and varying the eye speeds across the piece could make it more appealing and natural. Took me awhile to get it even though I made many attempts from learning from the book before. .·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·. Analyzing other artist's works also helps! At least it made sense in the end and it's still an ongoing process of diving deeper. I hope to apply much more of it into my work! There's so much to learn and so much to do but that what makes art pretty cool. ૮₍ ꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ ₎ა 💕 Sources: - Michael Hampton's Figure Drawing Design and Invention

Started using Procreate and here was one of the sketches I did to refresh on basic lighting techniques. One of my favourite sources for the topic are Naranbataar Ganbold Tutorials and Still Life Studies on Pinterest. Super Helpful and I am grateful 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 One day I'll get how to render my drawings well enough! Gotta keep learning and trying links to the super helpful sources above: -https://www.artstation.com/naranbaatars/albums/8678694
