Genshin boys as things

this was very nice to write it brought me some comfort since i’m really upset over something <33 i love writing its really a great stress reliever no matter if your good at it or not

kazuha as a gentle wind against your back, comforting on a hot day, gently soothing you, bringing scents of earth and rain to you. just like how his anemo power is nature centered, everything like this reminds you of him.

kazuha as a moonlit terrace, calming your nerves, a red glow reflecting from a pond, leaves falling around you.

kazuha as a comforting cup of tea, warming your insides (😳 hehe i’m thinking of something filthy) as you drink, the sweet fragrance of the drink flowing around you, relaxing your nerves and soothing your sore body.

kazuha as a warm hot spring in autumn, complimented with sake. maple leaves falling around you, as you ease into the hot water, relaxing your muscles.

kazuha as a soft plush blanket to lie your head on when you need it, comforting and smelling like home.

venti as a sweet song to your ears, cheering you up as you listen to the melodies gracing your ears. a gentle lyre strumming, happy vocals, and instruments pulling together a song just for you. feeling like he sent this band just for you.

venti as a cecilia waving in the wind, attracting you to it, a pretty little flower, beautiful in a bouquet with babies breath.

venti as a random burst of happiness, sending you giggling and twirling around your room, listening to an upbeat song, not caring what others think, and being free.

xiao as a tall mountain, adorned with flowers. a gentle touch on a harsh cold terrain. just like him. cold and harsh, yet still gentle.

xiao as a callous formed on your hands. whether it be from a hobby or work, it is a reminder of things past that will have a lasting impact on you. much like how xiao’s adeptal work have left him calloused and cold.

xiao as a long lost friend you haven’t seen in a decade suddenly coming to mind again and bringing you a wave of happiness and sadness due to what you lost and what you gained.

xiao as a well needed nap at night under a heavy blanket. wrapping around your body and soothing you to sleep as you lie in the starlight. the warm and soft sensation melts your worries away and you feel protected.

Happy Birthday to youuu, dear Venti!!

It was Ventis birthday, and you wanted to do something special for him. You stayed up late, baking an apple pie. The other night you picked the sweetest, ripest, freshest apples straight from a wild tree, and you didn’t forget to pick different varieties.

It smelled sweet and had a rich aroma, you drizzled it with caramel and dusted it with sweet cinnamon sugar. He had quite the sweet tooth after all. You then contacted Diluc to buy him his favorite bottle of dandelion wine.

You set up the table with a tablecloth, a beautiful calla lilly, and set up the drink glasses, and you gently placed the pie down, along with the wine bottle itself.

You sighed, then going upstairs to get ready yourself. You fixed up your hair, putting on his favorite outfit for you, nothing special at all, simply one of his shirts, and socks. he loved seeing you in his clothes, why not treat him to this?

you heard a gentle knock accompanied by a “Yoo-hoo!~” So you knew it was your favorite bard, venti. so you turned off all the lights, hid under the table and waited for him to let himself in.

“Comin’ in!” he shouted before opening the door and looking at the scenery. “Don’t tell me.. my own windblume forgot.. too?” His voice dropped.

You came out from under the table and snuck up behind him. “Happy birthday Ven-Ven. How could i be so heartless to forget?” You hugged him from behind and nuzzled into his back.

“Oh? Windblume! I’m so excited to see you! I thought you forgot like most people did.. the only other people who remembered were The knights of favonius and Noelle..” He mumbled.

“Oh venti.. I have a surprise for you. Turn on the lights!” And he did. He broke into a wide grin and looked like he was about to cry. “Windblume!? For me!?” He hugged you and spun you around in his arms. “Celestia? What did i do to deserve you!” He smiled and finally took a look at what you were wearing.

“Is that.. my shirt?” He smiled “You look so adorable. Well, i can’t wait any longer! May i take a slice out the pie?” He asked with puppy eyes.

“You don’t need to ask.”

He wasted no time cutting into the pie and taking a small bite. His eyes widened before swallowing.

“Windblume this is the best apple pie i’ve had… ever! I’m not even trying to flatter you, the only time anything could ever try to rival this, i haven’t tasted in centuries! It’s delicious! Thank you, Windblume!” He beamed.

“Venti, thank you so much! i tried to make it perfect just for you. I made it according to your tastes, so i hoped you would enjoy it.”

He nodded, taking another bite, but you didn’t expect him to pull you into a kiss. The small bite went into your mouth, the sweet taste of apple pie and ventis spit in your mouth.

You pulled away and panted like a dog.

“How did i taste, Windblume?”

“Ven-Venti?! That- You need to ask me before hand!” You squeaked, now a blushing mess.

“Ehe! Sorry sorry, but, will you allow me to indulge just this once? I promise i won’t do anything you won’t enjoy!” He winked.

“Venti!” You scolded, before breaking into a laugh. “Of course. Happy Birthday, i love you.”

“Oh windblume!” He kissed your face, “i” muah! “love” muah! “you” muah! “more!” he pressed a long, lingering kiss on your lips.

“this will be the best birthday i’ll ever have.”

i’ve spent quite too much time in inazuma, watching the trees leaves change waiting for me to return to you. i simply want to be with you again, yet the crux won’t leave for another week. 

my heart yearns for you, as i hope you yearn for me. my dove, i will be in liyue, and with you, as soon as i can. if i could be there with you right now, i would be right by your side, and if i could, never leave your side. 

but for now, i’ll be holding your letters tight, waiting till those letters are replaced with your soft gentle skin against mine.

the departing date for liyue is approaching, and i’m awaiting seeing your beautiful face again. i’d love to spend more rainy nights with you, where our actions speak louder than any words can, but if i could sum it up in 3 words, it would be, “i love you.” 

i have finished a new haiku about the delicateness of an angel. it is about you, but some things i can’t describe in words alone, for my feelings are too strong to even express, angel. in my free time i think of haikus to read you when i get to liyue. i know you have trouble drifting off to sleep, so i’ve written poems to lull you to sleep when the time comes.

i cannot figure out a name for this haiku in particular, for the vagueness of it all is what creates the poem. i cannot title it “(your name)” for the vague aspect, though all of it is about you. you may send suggestions in your next letter, if you’d like.

“ Communication is Key”

It had been around a month since you and Venti had been dating. He noticed you rarely wanted to be close to him, and it made him a little worried. Did his windblume really get tired of him so soon?

“Windblume!!” He called out for you in your room, and you mumbled a response.

“Hi Venven…” You shied into your blankets, not knowing how to show your feelings. You adored Venti, the person who spoiled you with love, the bard who sang you to sleep nearly every night. You felt like you couldn’t express it well enough.

“Windblume? Are you ok? You seem.. tired.” He walked to your bed, gently lifting the sheets with his winds.

“I’m fine. I just.. I’ve been thinking about something.” You weren’t lying, you’ve been thinking of him, but ventis mind trailed to other things.

“Windblume.. I.. What did i do wrong?” His voice was shaky, worried, and his eyes looked hurt. You looked shocked. Why did he think he did something wrong?

“Venti..? What are you going on about?” you inquired, scooting closer to him.

“I.. Well.. Its just that you seem to not.. like the attention i give you, you just.. kinda freeze up and just.. and.. maybe you just don’t like me anymore?” His sorrowful tone made your heart shatter.

“Oh Venven.. I.. I just.. I..” You paused. You didn’t know how to explain it.. you wanted his touch so bad.. you wanted him so bad! It wasn’t easy to express it. You sighed and simply gave him a longing look, gently looking at him, hoping he’d get the hint.

“Windblume” He paused, “Windblume, it’s ok if you don’t want me to touch you.” His hand retreated from you, before you rapidly nodded your head no.

“Oh? Ehe?” He went back to normal, now apparent that he did nothing wrong.

“I.. I think it’s hard for me to handle affection Venven.. It doesn’t mean i don’t like it.. in fact.. i.. i like it a lot.. i just.. maybe need to process it more you know?” You explained, the words finally coming to mind.

“Well, if you want anything just ask your Venti, he’ll be here to give you all the time you need!” He giggled.

You offered a gentle smile, and shakily pressed a kiss to his cheek. He went wide eyed before grinning ear to ear.
