Junkan Week 2025 - Day 7 - Despair

The final day! Admittedly for these two prompts I didn't have a grand meaningful idea this time around, I was going purely visual for them.

For despair I decided to reference a scrapped idea from Day 60 of my 100 Days of Junkan Project! During the adaptation we got this panel.

Originally instead of vague, spectral tendrils representing Junko being wrapped in despair. However originally it was supposed to be chains, unlocked by Mikan! I scrapped the idea not for any reason of I thought it would look better, just genuinely did not want to draw chains adsfljsdghfljsd. So I brought the idea back here, albeit now with Junko and Mikan chained to each other! Which I think is kind of, maybe, a cool visual metaphor for their relationship in the Evil Girlfriend-centric context of the ship?

Also I think this is the first time in awhile I've drawn Junkan with the darker vibe of the main canon. Albeit I'm still not going too far in that direction with this, but hey I guess consider this the single dose of Toxic Yuri for the event? Kind of? listen you gotta have low standards with me I'm a fluff girl and have no idea what I'm doing here slfjhadlsjhfsljd.

Junkan Week 2025 - Day 7 - Coffeeshop AU

Lookie here! We got a Fanfic Adaptation for the first time in awhile! What fic? One that you can't read! Cause this is based on a Coffeeshop AU my friend made inspired by the coffeshop au i did for Syomaru awhile back, he made like two short fics off of it, put them in my DMs, and then never posted them anywhere because I don't think he posts anything anywhere. Here is me getting permission to do this btw

Anyway I would have done art of my own Coffeeshop AU which does have Junkan, however that one has nothing to do with Coffee nor a Shop for Coffee, his did. Also doubles as a Band AU if Junko's appearance is anything to go off of. I will now post the description of Junko's design for the hell of it.

Now realizing I didn't draw her leaning on the table GOD DAMMIT

Anyway I'll try and convince him to lock in and make an AO3 at some point so people can actually like, read his fics. Cause he's actually done a substantial amount of Junkan and even some other ships. Will it be to your taste? No clue, but more Junkan in the world is a net positive in my opinion.

Oh uh, art wise I had a lot of fun designing Junko if it wasn't obvious. I've made it so that her hair will be unbearable to draw in the future, but I've made worse choices artistically sooooo, myeh
