paying homage to over-the-knee socks

Yes, I am obsessed with over-the-knee socks (that's me in the polaroid pic). I have many pairs. I can often be seen lounging in them, or wearing them with a pair of high boots. They are one of the most comfy things and make me smile when I pull them on. They are on the list of things that makes me happy. I also believe them to be a wee bit sexy...

On many occasions, I will hear a song that transports me back to another time. The power of music is delightfully energetic and at times haunting. This song was one I played when I was a DJ (spinning music as night turned to day during the sunrise time slot at our outdoor body/mind/soul weekend parties). It has such an ethereal mix/layers of beats. This video of paintings by Liu Yanshou is paired beautifully with this song. Enjoy!
