I thought about you today.

I thought about the things we use to say.

And i thought about what could have been.

And i thought about why we couldn't be.

And i thought that i should hit you up. Tell you how much i fucked it up.

But then i thought that i would mess you up. Give you a ray of hope that i was coming back.

I still did reach out and i loved the blow back.

I walked into a wall that you had built up. It hit me hard but I saw your strength and i'm quite proud.

Its like phoenix, i made your ashes and then you rose up.

Now I can wait to see you fly.

You'll probably never figure it out. Never get the perfect timing. Never have enough money, never have enough time.

You'll probably never get the chance to land the perfect punch, or shoot an uncontested shot. You'll probably never have a stormless sail, a flawless victory.

Shoot contested shots, throw bad punches , sail through storms, win flawed victorys. The glass is always half full. Half full is a state of mind.

Lately ive felt like im in the wrong place, taking up the wrong space.

Making all the wrong choices and then w wondering if its fate. I either have questions for my faith, Or I need faith for my doubt.

I took loyalty and betrayed it, trust and broke it.

I met Love the other day. I run. Broke hearts that gave ever abundantly. Blood to clear waters. The plague is with us.

The figurative light at the end of the tunnel was a candle light, followed by more darkness.

Left will sting you like Right will bite you. So i Picked a lane and hope for the lesser pain to strike me. Wondering about greener pastures and if darkness ever becomes light.

Choose Love

Love will rise at first like the soft rays of sunrise. Beautiful. Full of never ending conversations, excitement in the voice, like this is forever

Love will hit you at noon with fatigue. Exhausted from all the emotions. Bored of the same person.

Love will set just as it rose, bringing darkness in silence.longing for the touch of someone else. This is reality.

But when love sets, promise you will still choose me, just as i will always choose you.

If theres a cupid, then he may need practice. Because whiles she was loving me, i was loving the other, and she was loving another.

She gave me her heart and i broke it, I gave the other my heart and she broke it, she gave another her heart and he's breaking it.

Surely cupid can get one love story right.

It cannot be this hard to find love that loves you back. Equally. Without hesitation. Without indecision. It cannot be that hard to get one love story right.

So i write this as a memo

To my lovers that i hurt ... im sorry

To my lovers that hurt me...i forgive you

And To you my unborn child...When you love, don't love too hard. Because cupid is a bad shot. Period.

But my heart is frozen, my feelings are numb, my eyes are empty.

Im just too tired to do anything about it.
