When it comes to trying to make your autistic child less autistic ABA is terrible, and most of the parents who put their child through ABA therapy don’t even know it. The physical, verbal, and emotional abuse that a patient can go through. The fact that ABA teaches children to never question adults making them perfect targets for pr*dators.

Sadly, ABA is still the #1 therapy used on autistic kids. This is why it’s so important to listen to autistic people. So many of us have been screaming about how bad ABA is but our voices just get drowned out. We need to stop ABA as a “treatment” for autism.
