My first experiences with encountering radical feminism came specifically from looking up support groups for having reproductive disorders and coming across forums full of "womyn" more concerned with their lack of fertility and how that somehow undermined their womanhood when my main concern was continuing to end up in the ER from blood loss. Idk how to explain the extremely uncomfortable disconnect, but as someone with a half dozen other "mostly affects women" conditions, the difference between groups responses specifically for gynecology related shit vs even the very white suburban woman dominated "spoonie" communties in vibe wrt medical misogyny is STAGGERING.

I do think it's actually very funny that some transphobes get so lost in the Abigail Shrier Irreversible Damage sauce that they develop a knee jerk aversion to hysterectomies/oophorectomies on the grounds that some fertile young transmasc might have their reproductive organs yoinked that they just like. totally black out and stop caring that that's also life changing healthcare for countless cis women. was my mother part of the trans agenda when she got her uterus removed in her forties to stop her debilitatingly painful periods. were the doctors who repeatedly tried to convince a divorced middle aged woman with two grown children that she shouldn't do it in case she wanted to have a geriatric pregnancy someday actually just taking a brave stance against gender ideology.

they didn’t have to make volo specifically a merchant for pla to work at all they could’ve easily done it differently but it’s very funny

•you see him actually doing his job one time when he makes a delivery to gaeric. usually he’s just running around hounding people for information

•what he does is occasionally hand you free stuff from his stash

•he himself accidentally acknowledges his own tendency to shirk his duties before correcting himself like uh i mean uh

•as cogita mentions im sure ginter is not pleased lol

•he has infinite of every item for purchase but he doesn’t have three pieces of wood on hand

•he does have a whole change of outfit in that big old backpack though. and the ability to make it magically disappear

•the first time he finally stays in one place long enough for you to buy from him is during the apocalypse

•he charges you money

•i mean of course he charges you money he’s got a job to do but like

•he charges you (chosen hero only person strong enough to save anyone) money (full price) during the apocalypse (space and time are breaking down and the sky is bleeding)

•the apocalypse that HE CAUSED

In a truck stop bathroom washing my hands today and 2 boys, looked about 5 and 9, came in with their little sister who looked maybe 2. The following whispered conversation made my entire day

"We have to wait, there's a lady in here!"

"That's not a lady, he has a mustache! We can be in here!"

"Some ladies have mustaches! And she has boobs!"

"Well some guys have boobs! Like Uncle Jake!"

"Uncle Jake is fat!"

At this point I could not contain a chuckle and both whirled around with identical looks of panic on their faces. I smiled and said "it's alright for you guys to be in here so your sister has help, don't worry. And I'm both! That's why I have boobs and a mustache. Some folks are just built that way"

(In unison) "Ooooooh!"

(older boy) "So do you use Sir or Ma'am or both?"

"Both, but I prefer Sir"

"Cool! Well thanks Sir! We have to help our sister now!"

This was in a small town country truck stop and both boys had "Murica" type stuff on and neither of them had any issue at all with these concepts. Their mom approached me while I was in line about 10 minutes later and apologized for them bothering me in the bathroom (they had told her about the interaction) and she and I had a lovely little chat too. I got to introduce her to the term "intersex" and her reply was "I think I've heard of that before! I didn't know that was the word for it. Amazing how many different ways God can make people!"

Sometimes the world is good. More often than you might think, if you give it a chance. It's not all bad loves <3
