And... in front of our eyes, amidst a world where we all battled the same sexism, sexual harrassment, eating disorders and everything society caused young women to go through, she rose, battled, spoke, won and emerged standing as a person in her own, full power. SIMULTANEOUSLY showing us all that it is possible to do the same. And making the space for us to do so. This is a woman I am happy/relieved/lucky my thirteen year old sister looks up to. When you get so excited to hear your JAM on the radio (as opposed to on your own (on repeat) exclusively music by @taylorswift Spotify playlist) ... that you swap the last "Darling" for a bit of a belted out "Baby!"... Listening to "New Year's Day" , again, again. One of the classics.

That squeeky, nostalgic underlay sound in the background is like an old cine reel being loaded/running after the film has been shown. ("Hold on to the memories they will hold on to you"). The reel is still running and it is the day after the party, i.e in the private, not glittering, but most important moments... where the reality of the post-showtime lives and thrives, real love ❤️. It also sounds like a gramaphone wheel that has come to the end of the track... but they are still dancing in the silence (T and J) and/or swinging on a squeeky old porch swing when they are 87 and 89 like in "Mary's Song, Oh MY MY MY" .

TS has done the same underlay sounds with the creaking/squeeking/scratchy floorboards in "CORNELIA STREET" ( "memorised the creaks in the floor") wonder if she recorded the actual sounds of the house? That would be so EXTRA aka that would be entirely and exactly Taylor! I totally bet she did. That's what I would do if I were as brilliant as Taylor. I would record the actual house sounds and then just secretly know that to myself every time I looked at my (several) Grammys on the shelf like: "Yeah, remember that time I was so legendarily intelligent that I outdid even myself in all my other cleverness? Yeah, that was très cool of me!" Cannot wait to see TS at Roskilde, Denmark AND in Oslo, Norway AND in Portugal 2020. (Unfortunately couldn't get Diamond circle, were sold out, or for Germany but I will enjoy the others golden circle yayayayayayyayay!!!) All three shows' tickets booked and waiting!!!!!!
