How to feel less stuck in life
I don’t know about you but I certainly feel like I haven’t moved forward in life for months! Quarantine has us tied to our beds, seeing the world through windows or screens. I left highschool having an amazing gap year in mind and yet life decided to spice things up a little. Here are some small things you can do to feel less stuck where you are:
Go on a fitness journey -Start eating better or healthier or more! Start exercising or try new ways to move your body. Consistency and progress will make you feel better and more productive.
Change your daily routine -It could be just waking up earlier or switching things up in your routine. Breaking the repetitive pattern will help freshen things up
Pick up a new hobby -Try something completely new or learn a new skill! Again, seeing progress even in smaller parts of life will be so benefitial to you
Make things with your hands -Cook, make art, and build things. Leaving physical results that you can see behind is progress
Spend more time with friends -Now we are relying on phonecalls but it is still social interaction that will give you things! Whether it’s new information, new skill or just a good laugh
Take care of something/someone -Take care of your pet, plants or just help out local fauna! Seeing something grow or learn to trust is an amazing feeling
Right now I’m pretty much out of ideas, so if you have more feel free to add them! Have a nice night and stay safe!

My Favorite Line
I want to write freely on here but there’s too many prying eyes. Perhaps that's my own fault. Woe is I.

Of Slow, Dreamy Sunsets
The sunlight is dancing along the curve of my anklet. It comes quickly, sneakily, this evening, like an illicit lover. The light stretches out its long, lean fingers, teases deftly, catches my attention just so; then it runs away.
I stretch my foot towards the sky. The heat rests on my soul and the warmth reminds me of the west coast just for a moment.
It is the evening. It is a Wednesday that could very well be a Sunday. I am sitting on my twin sized bed. The sunshine moves quickly. The music, it moves, slower. The breath, slowest of them all.
I am finding my heaven in snatches.
