On this day, in 1542, I lost my head and my life. Some said I was a slut, a whore who deserved it. Some said I was plotting, using my physical beauty to attract the old king. Today, I want you to think about how there's always more to someone than what appears. I suffered from sexual abuse as a young teenager, and I was groomed by those who I thought I could trust. There are many people like me in the world. I want you to think about what you say about others without knowing the full story. I've made bad choices, and those choices did result in my beheading. But I was also I teenage girl, married to a 50 year old king. Whether you scroll by this or read it and decide to learn more about me, I want you to know that no one is all black and white. We all have made bad choices. We all have our gray area. We all have our side of the story.
