We who make stories know that we tell lies for a living. But they are good lies that say true things, and we owe it to our readers to build them as best we can. Loving this. And if you want to know what London is really like in the 21st century read 'This Is London' by Ben Judah. Gritty, often uncomfortable, but beautifully written and takes you to places you never expected to be able to go.
