DBDA cast Appreciation Week is a Go! So with each post I’ll be posting my process for some fantasy AU illustrations I have for the show! Today is George’s day!

When I first watched Dead Boy Detectives, I was surprised to find out that this was George’s debut into acting! He played a dead Edwardian for 1916 so well! The way he held himself, the mannerism and the walk! You could tell he put a lot of effort into making it believable! Edwin felt like he was literally ripped from that time into ours and I can never thank George enough for bring such an amazing character to life and making him so much more! Edwin is a fantastic character and the way George played him was unique and gave him so much depth! Can not wait to see what other works George gets to do!

I love that this scene begins as a conversation about Charles and Crystal kissing, and ends with Charles' affirmation of their friendship and Edwin's bashful little smile.
